Great people! Great food! Great beer! Great atmosphere! I’m so glad to have found this gem of a bar. The Mexican street corn, burger, and Better BLT are on point. Rosie made a mean old fashioned even though she said it was basic, probably one of the best I’ve had. If you’re in the Eastish Dallas area you must stop by and say hello to Rosie and Strangeways special little guests.

I cant speak to how the bar usually is because we came in at 11pm on a Monday night, but the bartender was welcoming and I felt safe even late at night.

Naming themselves after The Smiths’ album “Strangeways,” this place exists in its own realm. I moved in a few years back and I always seemed to gravitate to this bar for their kind service, rotating IPAs, and THE BEST YUCA FRIES I HAVE EVER EATEN. They hosts numerous different events that fit that space, like a new wave dance party, house/techno, even world sound. Definitely my favorite neighborhood bar by FAR.

Hit the jackpot finding this place. The owner Eric made us feel right at home. His beer selection is unique and sooo good. Not to mention the whiskey and gin selection. Every time I’m in town I’ll definitely be hitting this place up. If you go by, and have the opportunity to meet Eric, tell him Bridget said hi. Cheers!!!

Rosie in the bar was so professional and friendly. I work in the industry and wanted to watch the game. I had just left a dead bar where 4 people behind the bar ignored me because i suppose they need you to speak up if you want something as standard as a menu or a water. Strangeways had the game on, a great vibe, a wonderful one woman show named rosie, and a terrific beer selection. This was my first time here but it wont be my last

Strange Ways on Fitzhugh has the best beer selection in Dallas. You won't find these beers anywhere else under one roof! Plus they have a great elevated bar menu that goes until Midnight...7 days a week. Great for us late night folks getting off of work and needing a great bite to eat. Great liquor selection as well!

Excellent place, lots of variety in beers and drinks, very friendly people, always attentive, generally quiet Fridays and busier Saturdays.
Highly recommended to try beers! Of many types and degrees of alcohol. Up to 20%🥴😵💫 do it with measure.
I really liked the decoration and the outdoor area, you can have private events.
The food is very delicious.
A clean place although the bathrooms lacked a little attention.
