I was really hopeful Street’s food was going to be delicious but it was bland and lacking flavor unfortunately. It wasn’t memorable and I won’t go back. So why 4 stars, because of the friendly staff who went above and beyond, that’s the only reason.

Whenever I’m in the area, I always make a stop here. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful. The biscuits, brussels sprouts, garlic green beans, salads, and fries are my go-to favorites, and you have to make sure you get a side of jalapeño ranch. My husband loves the roasted chicken, especially the crispy skin. We haven’t tried anything we didn’t thoroughly enjoy, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get.

Absolutely delicious chicken, great service and atmosphere. I have never been disappointed and I have been coming here for years. Their chicken fried steak is top notch, as is their jumbo tenders and their Mac and cheese. Their Brussels sprouts are delicious and their green beans are perfectly done every time.

Went as soon as I got back to town and it's just as good as it was a few years ago. Amazing chicken, the deviled eggs are so dangerous, and service was perfect. I really miss living down the road from Streets.

I ordered the chicken fried chicken and was surprised how thin and lightly battered it was. It's been a couple of years since I've been here and it use to be pretty good portion. I get shrinkflation but wow.

Straits restaurants have always been outstanding over time and they have a very long history in the Dallas area. My visit on this day was just a simple lunch outing. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes. I have had the collard greens on other occasions. Maybe I ate a little slow but the batter on my chicken was a little on the soggy side and not very thick. Maybe it was the extra gravy I asked for. But for the sides if you're looking to eat something that resembles eating at home you come to the right spot. This one day is not going to stop me from coming, I enjoy it too much
