Visited on a slow weekday afternoon. Order a half chicken with sides. Fries and Mac n cheese were excellent. Chicken was crispy on the outside, very tender on the inside. So-so service (slow, ordered a drink which never came, etc.). As it says on the menu, be prepared to wait about a half-hour for your chicken, as they fry it on demand.

I went to this restaurant not knowing what to expect. I must say that I was not disappointed. The food was so delicious. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. Christopher B was our server. He was very patient with us. He made sure that we were taken care and was very friendly. I had the fried chicken (half bird) it was so golden brown and very crunchy. Well-seasoned. Delicious!!! I had a side order of the Brie Mac & Cheese it was very good. Garlic Green Beans...

we’ve been here a total of 3 times. the service is always so wonderful. the staff are so kind and make you feel welcome. the ambiance is a cozy, quiet, rustic farmhouse style with open dining seating.
the food is amazing, top tier. everything is fresh and flavorful, the different dishes and sides pair perfectly together.
overall, this is the best restaurant i’ve ever been to. if you’re ever in dallas and need a good comfort food spot, this is the place...
