I came to see a movie on a Sunday morning. Walked in, no one at the “bar” area so I could buy something to drink. So I go to my movie…and press the button to be serviced. I’m the only one in the theatre mind you…pressed the button…waited more than 10 minutes and still nobody came. The floor by my seat was slippery like it was oil on it and there was liquid in the cup holders!! Should have got my movie free if I wasn’t going to get serviced for a DRINK!! And had to sit in a dirty theater. I tried to make it easy on them and buy it on my way in to my movie. But couldn’t do that either! Won’t come to this theatre again. Understaffed and poor service. Not worth a 12$ movie ticket. Never again.

this SMG is in my opinion one of the best in DFW! they’re always making sure you’re taken care of, have the most wonderful, positive attitudes and are always extremely clean. We live closer to the one off Royal Lane but come to this one any chance we get because we know we’ll get stellar service! We’ve had instances of them forgetting something simple like a dressing or drink and our server has always come to check and double check, and the second they noticed something was wrong they fixed it immediately. I’ve seen them do this for myself as well as other customers. 12/10 recommend for anyone trying to enjoy a good movie without any issues!

I go to the Royal Location food is better & the staff today.. & I'm still here in my seat typing this... They've removed the option to order food at the kiosk, then the theater is filthy, then I gave my card to the girl with the face piercing had my hand open for her to put it back in my hand & she put it back on the table.. The Nachos are trash idk what they do different over here but they aren't as good at Royal lane... Did I say she was cleaning up while the commercials was going on... I wish I would've looked at the correct location because I don't like it here at all... So I received my ticket no black book no pen .. no nothing... Here's ya ticket ma'am have a good night... excused me huh...

It was several gnats that I was busy fighting off. I couldn’t enjoy my movie. Also the 2 for $30 is a scam. My total ended at $54. I got water as a drink. Make it, make sense ….. Definitely will not be coming back!!!!!

Great service, clean and not crowded. I’ve always took the longer drive for this experience. It’s worth it.

We’re frequent SMG customers and seriously this is the best one in Dallas! You can tell they work as a team, and enjoy being a part of the SMG family.Last couple of visits we’ve arrived early and grabbed a drink beforehand -being taken care of by Charlie and received phenomenal customer service and the drinks are well made with care! Seriously we now make it a point to show up early to grab a drink or two made by Charlie!Fresh food, good drinks, well taken care of environment!

This used to be one of my favorite movie theaters to go to, but after this time, I'm having doubts on ever coming back.I visited with family a few months ago, and our food only arrived towards the end of the movie. I haven't really had bad experiences before, so I brushed it off.This time, my partner and I placed an order for popcorn and drinks before the movie even started, and we had to call someone back when we practically finished our popcorn, yet drinks still hadn't showed up.A little after a quarter into the movie, we placed another order for chicken tenders. Online it said the tenders were $13.50. We were pretty surprised when the server said our total was nearly $18. We gave the server $20, and he said "no change, right?" .... there was an 18% service fee automatically applied to the order (that we weren't aware of. But it is mentioned at the very bottom of the page when you pull up the menu link. Still pretty annoying that it's kind of hidden from the customer, because I doubt many people scroll that far.) kind of an interesting assumption that we wouldn't want change back when we automatically already tipped. Anyway, we never saw that change, nor the chicken tenders.And personally I feel that receipts should be given for all transactions, or at least offered. We didn't get one for either transaction, so we were a bit frustrated that we couldn't verify the charges, and had to go off of our word when we approached the manager afterwards regarding the issue of the missing tenders. I do appreciate the manager being helpful with getting us our $20 refund for our missing food though.My biggest issue with the experience was the quality the movie was displayed in. I'm really curious if other people complained about it, but I have not seen quality that bad since the 2000s.On a side note, I recommend seeing Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire....but maybe not here.

First time here, The Studio Theatre was good. Unfortunately i didn't get my food order because the runner/server bring it to another seat, and happened on half way of the movie... Never comeback.

Why do we have to put 1 STAR because I want to put absolutely none!I CAN NOT with this place. My Family and I have always been a fan of Studio Movie Grill for sometime now...Hints to why we come so often. Last year we came to this location and were sadly and extremely disappointed with the service ? It was so bad that we spoke to the manager and he gave us 6 free tickets to another movie in the future. Tonight we finally took him up on the free tickets....once again were utterly disappointed. If only the service was as good as the amazingovie we watched. I suggest everyone to go see Dune, but I also suggest NEVER coming to this location. It is no Bueno

Worst experience ever! Got charged for the wrong account which was over $100. Still waiting on refund and for someone to get back to us after calling them for several days! Don't go!
