First Time in Dallas visiting

Went here with my GF to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and the food here was amazing.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere felt like I was getting a true home cooked meal.

I got the catfish plate w/ greens and Mac cheese
My gf got a fry chicken plate w/ greens and mash potatoes.

Greens were amazing, the best part of the dish ez
The price was great value for what you all get.

We will definitely be coming back whenever we're in Dallas

I was craving SOUL food last night bad! Bae, and I stopped in for the first time taking a chance on a google search, and WAS NOT disappointed.

Portions: VERY fair
Price: AFFORDABLE
Do yourself a favor. Don’t walk, RUN to grab some of anything in the menu. No I haven’t eaten everything, but the way I ordered done in, and to go right after I can trust it!

This place was good , I found it on tiktok however the service wasn’t that good. She kept trying to tell me i should pay a certain way and she was losing patience. The food is a little salty. The sides were okay , could be better. The food was okay I’m just used to REAL southern cooking !! 6/10.

Soul Food, so good! Five Stars on everything ♥️ the Mac and Cheese was delicious and the meat was fried to perfection! The cabbage and collards were fresh and seasoned right⭐️ Eat here!! You will not be disappointed!

Meat portions are good but the food is highly under seasoned. The yams(mashed sweet potatoes) were the only good portion of the meal.

I just purchased baked chicken and dressing with Mac & Cheese. The chicken was very dry . The dressing tasted like it had a mixture of Stove Top Stuffing mixed in it, not the traditional corn bread dressing. The mac & cheese tasted alright. The meal was not tasty at all.

Stopped by here looking for the traditional new year’s meal, black eye peas, greens, and cornbread. You will not be disappointed, this food tastes like it came out my Grandma’s kitchen & that fresh fried fish , yea, it taste even better than it looks!!!! I’ll Definitely be back,,

I gotta admit, I was a little skeptical when I saw africans serving soul food it's usually not the norm but this food was absolutely delicious!!!! Being from New Orleans I would defintely consider this soul food. The price is a little bit pricey but nothing is better than the food being worth the price. I had the fried fish plate with yams and mac n cheese and it was so good!! A tip for the restaurant though, I think you should consider making the mac n cheese more creamier. Nonetheless, very delicious.
