Nice does not make a happy tummy. The service was great. We did a walk-in order and the young woman helping us was super friendly and efficient. However, that's where the good ended. The food was really not good. No one in our party of 3 enjoyed it. We ordered Orange Chicken, Pork Lo Main, and some egg rolls. The chicken was in huge chunks of stringy dark meat that tasted almost gamey. The fried rice that came with it was just rice with chunks of scrambled egg. Nothing else. The chicken were not crispy but more mushy and their was maybe 9 pieces.. The lo mein was also mushy and the pork was bland, not like the typical marinated pork you get at bbq restaurants. Note that their lo main comes with mushrooms. And the egg rolls just weren't good. No amount of soy sauce helped. Looks like I am still on my quest to find even half way decent Chinese food in Dallas. The struggle is real.

I’ve picked up to go orders from this spot a few times and I’m pleasantly impressed with the food. I’ve ordered online seamlessly and picked up my order promptly. They do charge a fee for ordering online that’s applied when you pick up which, I believe, could be removed. *This spot is to go only, no inside dining*My go to order is the combo fried rice, side of sweet and sour sauce, and hot and sour soup. I’ve also ordered chicken and broccoli (brown sauce). The portion sizes are huge, food is hot, and cooked to order. I’ll definitely return to try out other items.

No atmosphere, take out only, we did not know this until we went! We ordered a ton of food, just to try a bunch of things, definitely not impressed. Portions are immense, but doesn't improve the taste. I liked the wonton soup but the wontons were so big, I had to take them out and put on a plate just to eat. The sesame chicken was pretty good and the best food out of our order. We asked for pork fried rice, but got chicken instead and it had a very odd taste. The chicken lo mein was just ok, and had a wierd taste too. I like supporting local businesses but this one is not on my list. Did not take any pictures, sorry!

I've lived in old east Dallas for about 2 years. I've tried several places for Chinese take out and this is the only place I go to. All the others I tried were horrible. SZECHUAN is always quick & delicious and staff very polite and efficient. The food here is really good & fresh.
This place had great food. They exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the general tsos chicken alot. The lo mein was good too. Prices were very good too. They were doing take out only. I would go back.
