Tried the All the Way Baked Potato but the chicken was extra apparently. When I asked what’s the difference between this potato and the stuffed potato, I was told one comes with meat and one doesn’t. So I ordered the all the way but had to pay $6 extra… I don’t understand their math when it’s supposed to come with meat?? Then the guy did not even tell me it would be extra until it was rung up for $20… but the potato was supposed to be priced at $14??
Anyway, 0/10, the potato was nasty and there was a huge bone 🦴. I’ll just stick to Smokey Joes. My first and LAST time trying this. Dave yourself the trip and go to Smokey’s instead.

Old hole in the wall but seems to have a pretty loyal following. Sliced brisket was okay but not great. Slight smoke ring, a little on the dry side. Sauce is thin and watery but the correct flavor for a Texas BBQ. The turkey was just okay as well. Chopped brisket on the baked potato had very little flavor and was mostly brisket crust. The baked potato was huge and cooked correctly. The pork ribs were tender and flavorful. The sides were disappointing, the potato salad was made with mashed potatoes and was kind of watery.
All in all, not a great place, but not a bad place either a solid middle of the road barbecue place. The prices are very reasonable and the staff warming and accommodating.

Menu
Barbecue meats, baked potatoes, sides, corn bread, large fresh dessert selection. We had tge rib ends with mild sauce-also ffer hot-10 pieces of full meat-no fat! Many sides-we had baked beans which had a delicious hint of cinnamon. The greens were delicious! The corn bread was a tad dry but good. All food served very hot! Beverages ate lemonade, punch, sodas in cans-no diet.
Summary
What TD’s lack in atmosphere, it makes up for in delicious fresh food. I loved watching the chef make the banana pudding! Great food! Friendly service!
