Amazing space! They have indoor and outdoor seating and the place is gorgeous! The food was fantastic, the drinks were delicious, fresh bright wines. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. Me and my partner both got fajitas and it was cooked to perfection, the meat was tender and delicious. My partner commented how Oliver, the bartender, made really good margaritas, you could taste the flavor without the alcohol overpowering the drink and the manager Jessica was so friendly and outgoing since the moment we came in, she came up to us make sure drinks and food were good. Overall our experience here was amazing, totally recommend for a date night and just a girls night fits both vibes.

Great Tex-Mex spot in Uptown! Wide variety of options with all the classic Tex-Mex dishes. Prices aren’t expensive at all for what you get!! Loved the tacos! Service was also excellent, we were happily seated and served quickly with over 15 people at one table!

Food was ok, I ordered food they gave me the wrong thing. The waiter said it was because there was a language barrier with the cooks so they wouldn’t remake it. Anyways he took it off the tab. Didn’t get what wanted to eat but at least he attempted to compensate me for the inconvenience. Hopefully they fix that issue.

It’s 9:45 on 5/25/25 and I just left this horrible place. I sat at the bar and asked the waiter if he could make me a specialty drink with no liquor as I am pregnant and he looked me like I was crazy and said but they have lemonade. I took a strawberry lemonade. Anyway…. I order queso and nachos. I ate my queso and was looking around at how everybody who sat at the bar AFTER me had gotten their food. I look over and see a plate sitting at the pick up station and not ONE, not TWO but THREE different people reached OVER that plate! The server pulled the plate close to him and was literally talking over the plate to the cook🥴🤢 So I told the bartender “hey idk if that’s my nacho plate or not but I don’t want it. Everyone is reaching over it, I’ll just pay for my lemonade and queso”. He says “ well that’s not your plate but I’ll just give you your receipt since you wanna act like that”…….. HUH????? So he walked away as I was trying to explain to him that it doesn’t matter if it’s my plate or not, I saw it and I don’t want anything else from behind the kitchen….as he comes back toward my way I asked him where the manager was and he completely ignored me, walked over to the assumed manager and told him whatever he told him and GUESS WHAT?? The manager shook his head and didn’t even come and acknowledge me. This is the second time I’ve had bad customer service at this company. I live right up stairs and will order Mexican food elsewhere before I ever go to this place again.

Got our orders wrong. Service was beyond delayed. Had to ask for things to be removed from the check since they never arrived. Couldn’t even get a breakfast burrito right, eggs potatoes cheese that’s all. How did it become rocket science and unable to be prepared? Manager came over and did nothing. Server said the kitchen was behind. My fiance’ had to eat chips and beans instead of having his meal. Ugh. NEVER coming back or recommending. So disappointing.

We really enjoyed the food, drinks, location, and overall ambiance of this restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed my enchiladas, and my wife loved her bacon, egg, and cheese tacos. The service was on point, and the food came out rather quickly regardless of us arriving for lunch on a Saturday. 🌮
I think this was my last time going here!! This use to be my go to but after Mother's Day I will definitely NOT be back... From the water they served to the service, only thing good was the quesadillas and fries!!! I was blew away when the waitress brought TAP water to the table on top of that it was the most disgusting thing ever, tasted like pure dirt!!! Fire the bartender for the nasty alcoholic beverages... it wasn't super busy like I thought but it took forever for the food!! Yeah all in all we won't be back

it's incredibly loud inside the restaurant. We sat at 8:30pm on a Tuesday night and a server didn't arrive for almost 12-15 mins. The restaurant was empty. The food was less than mediocre. Two burrito bowls and a carne asada taco dinner. They're super cheap with their protein. My steak in my combo burrito bowl was so thin it was like paper. They serve their margaritas in a plastic clear (small) solo cup. - which was also a rip off at $12-$13. Overall I give the restaurant, the food, the service and the value, 1-star. Would I return... NEVER! Go to Herreras on Harry Hines for OUTSTANDING Mexican food. Or Chipotle for a hearty burrito bowl that's actually hot and more fulfilling for $10. Our bill for three entrees and two margaritas was $75 I left a $15 tip (for less than mediocre service! TACOLINGO is a NO GO for me! The place is totally Blah!

Normally we enjoy our dinners here at Taco lingo but tonight's noise level was way too much. Not sure what was going on the second floor but hope it's not a regular occurrence. The food and service was good as usual but the experience was not.
