Had not been back since 2019. I ordered the Sushi mix B for 20 dollars. While the sushis were really good, I was shocked by how little there was for that amount of money (see picture). I left there still hungry, which is very very rare for me! This is not a fancy place so I expected to have plenty of sushi for that price. I eat sushi a lot in similar restaurants and I can't remember the last time I faced such a situation. I will not come back for sushis.

Husband and I were looking for some cheap sushi at Dallas. Then we found this place. We ordered a set of sushi B, two spicy salmon rolls and a scallops volcano roll.Sushi B is ok. If it’s got man, you will need to order more. ??Spicy Salmon Roll is very interesting. It’s a “Spicy” and “Salmon” roll like they just put the spicy sauce on the salmon. It’s not the normal spicy salmon roll you will get. ??Scallops Volcano Roll is yummy. We both enjoyed it. It’s spicy but sweet from the scallops. Recommend dish. ????The staffs are very nice and the place is clean. So if you are looking for a cheap sushi for dinner, it’s the place to go! ?

We love Tampopo, they have such good fish and food. We have gone into their restaurant and ordered through Uber before and both times, the food came still fresh and good. They are our go-to sushi spot. Their pricing is reasonable for a bento box and you get so much! In the restaurant, it's a small shop and they do bring the dishes to you, after ordering at the counter. But other than that, it's a serve yourself casual fast food.

Cute store with an easy layout. We came with a group of 8 and ordered quickly at the counter and had the food come out fast! The quality and portions were amazing, and the price was very reasonable. Great bento boxes, lovely tempura, beautiful rolls, yummy soup, and excellent noodles. Very good food.

Beef udon was delicious as always. The serving size is so generous. I also got the eel sushi, also delicious.I haven't done takeout in a while from here but they used to package the noodles separately (maybe they still do so upon request), so the noodles were a little softer than I expected after sitting in the broth for a bit. Just something to note if you live a little farther away and are doing to go.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this restaurant. It's the best Japanese cafe in Dallas. On greenville it's almost a stand alone, you might miss it. Trust me, punch it in the GPS and go there for lunch, dinner, or late afternoon snack like we did. The food is fresh with generous portions. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Since we were there for a late snack, we got a couple of dishes to share. My kids love eel so they ordered the eel on rice and it comes in a cute little box. It was perfectly cooked over a bed of rice and just the right amount of sauce drizzled on top. I was eyeing the pork belly on rice. The morsels of pork belly had to have been cooked over low heat for a long time. Braised to perfection. They melted in your mouth. The sauce was so flavorful it brought the rice up to a different level.

Food was great we've become regulars, everything we've tried on the menu is delicious, I highly suggest the spicy edamame, sushi, fried rice, soups and even the boba! The atmosphere is great and staff is very friendly!

One of the best bento boxes I've had in a long time. Everything was fantastic from the pork cutlet to the tempura vegetables. Will definitely be having lunch here when I'm in the area in the future! Only thing not in photos is the miso soup you get for a starter. It was also good.

After a small issue with a previous to go order I spoke with someone over the phone they encouraged me to come back to the store so they could make it right. They quickly remade me another dish (I chose the Spicy Tonkotsu ramen) and it blew my expectations out of the water. Will definitely be coming back!
