Not a bad experience, but not worth the price. The menu felt underwhelming and the desserts were disappointing. Service was fine, but we were required to place our entire order at once because the kitchen was small and there were several large tables. At this price point, I expected more flexibility, at least to order appetizers while deciding on the main course. Overall, there are better restaurants in Dallas with a similar concept and a better balance of value and experience.

We've gone twice, now. The first time was dinner with another couple. Second time was just the two of us at the bar. We truly think Tango Room is the best joint in the Design District. Food and atmosphere are incredible, but the incredible staff is the icing on the cake. They're relaxed, fun, friendly, and attentive--everything you want in a nice restaurant

Incredible food and a great atmosphere. The absolute best part of the experience was the service. Our server and bartender, Nolan, was spectacular and had so much knowledge if the menu and great recommendations. The filet, Casio E Pepe, and Tango Bolognese were amazing. The service was great from the entire staff with the manager checking in on us too.

Dinner at Tango Room made for a perfect night out. The service was very welcoming and personable. They offer a few off-menu “featured” options. The space is intimate with mostly booth seating.
We tried the chicken and caviar, Denver steak, pomme puree, broccolini, braiased cabbage, mushrooms and squash. The food was cooked perfectly and presented well. However, it was too salty. It was difficult to enjoy some of the dishes because it was over salted. The chicken was fried perfectly, but the saltiness overpowered the caviar and crème fraiche. Same for the vegetables. I would love to dine here again and hope the chef adjusts the seasoning.

I ordered 4 ribeyes w/ mash potatoes & brussel sprouts today, 10/23/25. Upon arrival, I got one serving of ribeye, mash potatoe, and brussel sprouts. I did inform them that I ordered four orders, but I only got three more ribeye and no sides. Total came to $810.79. Ridiculous! I would not recommend this place.
The service was great, the bar tender Nola give us to taste some great mezcal and was really knowledgeable about the drinks

Nice quiet upscale steakhouse. The wine selection was stellar and the food and service were excellent. Waiter was knowledgeable and even presented us with the kitchens off menu items as well. Recommend for anyone looking for a nice quiet dim lit date night
