What can you say about Mexican food from a gas station? Not all Mexican food from a gas station is the same. This place was convenient because of where I was working that day. This is not my part of town but I'd have to say this place was excellent. I had the 3 taco plate (1 trompo and 2 fajita, 2024 rice and beans). The trimming of the raw onion and cilantro mix was fresh and it also came with sautéed onions and a toasty grilled serano pepper. Food was a grand slam hit....
Best trompo tacos north of the border. The Torta Chilanga is amazing. Haven't had a bad order here in maybe 20 visits if not more. Staff is super friendly. Don't let that gas station location throw you off. (Atmosphere isn't relevant here) It's to go only.
