Wow so much flavor! I did not expect this at all. It surprised me. Didn't worth the trip and value of the food. My beans however did ooze out of my to go box.

It was quiet when we went in, but the food was still excellent, the service pleasant and the beer refreshing on a warm Texas night. This a reasonably priced authentic Taqueria. If you're in the area you should try it out.

We were in the deep ellum area when I felt like mexican food. A quick search popped up this unique place. Parking can be a little awkward. The inside was super clean and the service didnt disappoint. Ordered the fajita torta. The torta was good and the green salsa made it even better. The fries were a little crisper than what I would have liked them. The fries were also a tad warm. Other than that the food was good.

Decided to try this place after driving by. You enter and the place seems small, but there’s plenty of seating in the back room and outside. The 3 taco plate was perfect for 1-2 people. The tacos were soo good, 10/10, as well as the rice and beans. I love that the salsas are individually packed and they give you one of each flavor. The green was my favorite! The elote was okay. They give you a salsa packet to add spice to the corn. I would definitely return for the tacos.

The atmosphere was calmed on a Monday evening. You can park on the side of the street. We ordered beef fajita burritos the size of the burritos were good for the price but the flavor was not good a scale of 1-10 it was a 6. The taste was too salty I felt like the salt overpowered the other flavors if there were any season added to the meat or the rice or beans but compared to other burritos I have try that engulf your moth with flavor on the first bite and every bite becomes irresistible and makes you crave for more this burrito was the opposite. The first bite felt like I was putting spoons of salt in my mouth with an after taste of whatever unrecognizable flavor to my Mexican palate but maybe this was a one off salutation and is not consistent with the flavor the restaurant delivers on a daily basis.
We might come back to try it again and update the review. The service was great though. The cashier/server was patient, warm and welcoming always with a smile on her face. She was nice over the phone and in person to point to us where we could park outside bc the way the odd is situated.

PROS:This place just opened up across the street and we’ve been trying different things… The steak tacos are amazing. Flat out .. that’s what they’re great at. The tamales are great too.
its got a weird vibe… always empty…. The property is super unique and looks great.. but it needs a marketing strategy, events, live music, or something that vibes with the neighborhood that is gentrifying. A surf pool is nearby and their menu is pretty limited.. maybe a partnership?? We used to get tacos after surfing when we lived in SoCal.
CONS: see pic for how huevos rancheros were served For $20. Never again. Pathetic.
The trompa tore me and my friend’s stomach up.. he won’t come back over anymore. 😒 I’ll never eat it again.
The music… OMG. i understand its a taco place but trust us.. the tacos taste just fine without ranchera and boracho insanity BLASTING in the background. This is an english speaking white / black / Latino young and middle aged neighborhood… maybe switch it up a bit or keep it to a local radio station.
