Food was good, but environment and service couldve been better for an automatic gratuity to be added to my bill and then asked to tip again on the service terminal lol. plus when my party entered the restaurant their was a strong odor. Definitely had to wait 15+ minutes after receiving all but one order.

Tasty Tails used to be a good spot to go to plus they had more than just this one location. Now after visiting years later, I see why they only have 1 location hanging on!
Back then, the food pricing was cheaper, happy hour actually had good deals & the food was pretty decent. Now, it’s the complete opposite & they have the audacity to have automatic 18% gratuity! Not sure where this gratuity culture came from but this is not the type of spot for that. And for a person who visits New Orleans often, this is NOT authentic Orleans food by any means better off going to Pappadeaux. Lastly, beware the place has a strong sewer smell that will make you sick to your stomach.

No one seems as if they want to be here/ work and that shouldn't be the case as we all she be fair, nice, and gracious to each other.

The oysters was the best thing on the menu. The service was ok. They guy didnt know if I could order my oysters to go. Said yes then said no after I place the order. Got fried catfish and hush puppies. The fish was fried in old grease. The hush puppies didn't taste good. Waiting longer then the wait time given to get my food. Only ate it because I spent my money and didnt want to wait for meat in my freezer to thaw.

When I was first introduced to this restaurant it had us HOOKED (about 2 years). They had the chunky boil sauce with bold flavors, thoroughly cooked food, plenty of seating and amazing daiquiris.
The last 3 times (within the last year) I've gone the service was trash (took too long to come back and check on us & bring out our main course after having appetizers). The food has lost its bold flavor and the sauce that comes in the boil bag seems to just be the water from actually boiling the food. The butter that you can get on the side was diluted with canola oil and had a bitter taste. My mother asked for her wings to be fried hard, when she received them they weren't hard at all. They even closed the second portion of the restaurant (enclosed patio which they could use for renting for private parties or just open back up for extra seating!). Now they have cramped and limited seating. That portion of the store is not pleasing to the eye and looks dirty. The bathrooms, especially the women's smells like sewage the majority of the time and not as clean as it should be.
The only thing that has remained the same through and through are the daiquiris (when they're not out of all the flavors) and maybe the playlist. Which is the only reason I would ever go back. I've given them chance after chance to redeem themselves but they disappointed me!
So this is my review after about 3/4 years time. I hope this helps. Happy eating!
The experience was great customer service could have been a little friendly the food was good being from the south no one does Cajun like the big easy but it was good the wings 9/10 no ranch needed n clean restrooms the staff could have been moreon hand with the service but all in all I give the restaurant 8/10

The food is always good here. Micheladas are a hit or miss they’re either REALLY good or just okay The only reason I did not give 4 stars is the smell in the restaurant is very off putting and probably the only reason we won’t return. It’s a sewer smell that lingers through the restaurant and it almost kills your appetite We’ve been here about 4 times and the last visit was probably our least favorite

Oh yea! This was one of those spots that definetly serves good seafood. Not even mad at the price. .Came in with my family of 6 and our server was pretty cool and really attentive, i appreciate that! The atmosphere was hip and modern, very litty, which was a great combo with the delicious food. We got a couple appetetizers and they didnt dissapoint at all!! Then our crab boils came in with alot of flavor, heat and good sized quality seafood! I had the big boy and came with lobster, shrimp, ramen noodles, crab, corn, potatoes, sausage and a side of cajun beans and rice.. will be returning soon!
