I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt really disappointed with this delivery. The portion size was shockingly small for the price — it looked more like a sample than a proper meal. It’s hard not to feel ripped off when you’re paying full price and receiving so little. Definitely not worth what I paid

Lovely spot with a warm, cozy vibe and truly delicious Italian food. Everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and really knew their stuff — it made the whole experience feel extra special. Great place for a relaxed lunch, dinner with friends, or even a quiet solo meal with a glass of wine. Definitely coming back!

Been to northern Italy (many times) and had tons of aperol spritzes. When we came here, we decided to ask for an aperol spritz. We were served a fake one. The server didn’t even tell us they didn’t have actual aperol. I had to ask the bartender why it tasted off. Then just bc one of our friends had a taste for garlic bread, we asked if they had garlic bread. The server said they did then gave us bread with olive oil and vinegar. Hmm..

If you don’t have something, just tell us. Don’t say okay then proceed to give us something other than what we asked for.

Also, since this is supposed to be an Italian restaurant, you need to have Aperol.

This restaurant is incredible from the moment you enter. The hostess is kind. They have a program that saves your name and number; so, they welcome you back. The manager / owner stops by every table to say hello you. We have lots of food sensitivity / allergies; and, they don’t even blink at accommodating them. We do not drink alcohol - so they make drinking sparkling water such a treat; with red wine glasses and an insulated cooler for the table to hold the bottle. This last visit we learned they even have non alcoholic sparkling wine! Huge bonus Now for the food Wow! We are always blown away with the quality, creativity and flavor! As I mentioned, they accommodated our food issues with a smile. We have been dining there for years and will continue to do so. We live in out of Dallas and love making the trip to enjoy the experience of dining there!

We had an amazing experience at Taverna! It had been a while since my last visit, but from the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home.

We were surprising a friend for his birthday, and everything came together perfectly, thanks in large part to Patricia, our server. She was warm, attentive, and went out of her way to help make the day special. Her timing, energy, and genuine care added so much to our experience.

Big thanks to the entire team for helping us pull off a memorable celebration. Looking forward to coming back much sooner this time!

2nd time I visit a restaurant in Knox St. We shared 3 plates and they at the end of the day, you end up paying for the location. The beet salad was more lettuce than beet. The mussels and the frito misto were OK but not good enough to recommend them. Service was late at the beginning but recovered.
The place just doesn't justify the drive to get there. If you live close by, you may consider it.
