It was a great experience. The place is very well decorated. If you sit in the bar (or close to it) you will see the cooks making your food. The prices are super accesible for a place like this and the food tastes excellent. I ate the frog legs for the first time, and they were amazing. My wife ate salmon sushi and was delight with the softness of the salmon. Totally recommend for Japanese food lovers.

Everything about our dinner was lovely. We had a miso soup, grilled okra salad, chefs special sashimi and various additional sashimi. Everything was fresh and delicious and beautifully presented. Service was professional and warm. Restaurant is spotlessly clean and not too noisy. A great date spot!

Sushi and service were wonderful. The food was delicious. Sashimi was thick and really nice to eat. Waygu beef was flavorful and really soft.
I’m not a sushi expert, but I had a great experience here. The food was fresh with beautiful presentation, and the service was incredibly attentive—great teamwork all around. While the sushi was served at room temperature (which I’m not used to), the quality was undeniable. The dishes weren’t the most flavor-packed, but they were clearly made with care and top-notch ingredients. A solid spot for high-quality sushi.
I went with my wife for her birthday and they served us so amazingly! The food was fantastic. Definitely order off the robusta menu, Japanese grill. The miso sea bass was crazy good. Sushi was also top tier. They didn’t do anything special for birthdays which was kinda weird other than a candle.

I lived in Tokyo for 3 years and my wife is Japanese. This is by far the best Japanese restaurant I've ever had in Dallas. The food, atmosphere and service made us feel back in Hiroo (in Tokyo). Every single dish, from tempura to corroqutte, is so fresh and well crafted. I particularly liked the scallop carpaccio. I highly recommend this place.

I went to treat myself for a solo dinner at the bar after a bad week at work and it absolutely delivered and picked me up. Ordered the 6pc special platter which was delightful and reasonable value. Also ordered the lamb chop robotta which tasted so choice. House hot sake was absolutely fire, very frequent but non intrusive check-ins from the staff. The sushi chefs said hello to everyone that walked in and clearly one of the chefs friends with young children walked in and way the chefs greeted the families was so sweet. Felt like i found something special while reading a book and enjoying some awesome robota
