The food was great but unfortunately Octapus appeared to be cooked near the black snapper we ordered. The restaurant had been informed one of my guests has a shellfish allergy. The waitress told us there was no cross contamination and did not understand that Octapus which is a mollusk is also shellfish. My guest could not eat it and risk an allergic reaction. If you google ocatapus, you'll see that it is indeed a type of shellfish. She didn't believe us. It was the last...
Great service, very attentive server who answered all questions. We ordered Shishito peppers, sawagani, miso soup, the spicy lobster roll and yellowtail, fresh salmon, smoked salmon and bluefin tuna sushi, a whole bonito and octopus. We also ordered sake, a couple of cocktails and japanese beer. Every dish was delicious. Best of all, a quiet spot that allows for easy conversation. One of our favorite places in Dallas.
