Loved the vibes in this restaurant! The drinks were very strong which I appreciated 😁 the salsa was the perfect amount of flavor and spice, the only thing off was the actual food itself. The group of people I was with all got different meals and nothing had much flavor to it. Other than that everything was great.

Tejas is a great spot to grab a meal in the heart of Bishop Arts! They have a nice variety of options on their menu, and everything was fresh and delicious.

I went on a Sunday evening and made a reservation in advance knowing that there was limited seating inside, however it was pretty empty and a reservation was definitely not needed.

I ordered the Jungle Bowl with chicken and it was delicious - will definitely come back for it again. The chicken was juicy and grilled perfectly, and the veggies and rice were fresh. We also ordered guacamole which was delicious.

The vibe of the place is lovely - super cute decor. I will definitely be back to enjoy a margarita!

Watch your check !!! The waitress added 26 bucks to our tab. When we questioned them in person, they were dismissed and not taken seriously. Theft is theft.., we left 25 bucks on the table. Then the waitress added 26 more to our check.. after we ready signed the receipt.. The food wasn’t good enough to justify a 50+ tip… Dinners be ware.

Cute spot, good vibes inside. I really wanted to like it, but that ceviche tasted like straight lime juice with some shrimp floating in it. No salt, no balance, just sour overload. The fish and shrimp were fresh, but the flavor missed the mark. I left feeling like I drank lime juice for lunch. Won’t rush back unless they fix the flavor game.

Had dinner here last night , it was good . Very welcoming and quick service , I wanna assume the manager stop by the table and celebrate with us for the bachelorette party . It was a good start to our night . Will be returning again . The drinks had a wonderful presentation, I loved loved the white rice .

The delicious food, drinks, & ambiance are all the more reason to give this place a try! I haven't been here in a while & some things have changed on the menu, however the food quality was still good!

I truly don’t understand how this place has 4 stars on Google—this was hands down the worst Mexican food we’ve ever had. I ordered the veggie fajitas and they were completely bland, like someone grilled a sad pile of vegetables and gave up halfway through seasoning. The rice was the real kicker—tasted like basic Asian white rice loaded with way too much cilantro. Not even edible.

Chaz had the chicken tacos and they were just as bad—dry, flavorless, and oddly disappointing for a place that supposedly makes their own corn tortillas (hard to believe based on the texture and taste).

We tried to save the experience with drinks but… nope. My margarita mix tasted like straight-up lime juice with a salt rim. Chaz’s cucumber margarita somehow managed to be too sweet—like cucumber syrup with a tequila afterthought.

Service was fine, and the food came out quickly, but unfortunately, that was the only thing going for this place. What a disappointment as it was one of our 2 dinners out in the Bishop Arts district.

The To-Go frozen margs have been highly reduced in size and are only filled up to slightly over the halfway mark. Small marg for $14 is hard to justify.
