This place was great! The food was delicious and our server was super nice Desirey . She described several things on the menu and she was spot on. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The food was delicious! The drinks were good. I got lucky on a parking spot and was able to get in just in time before more customers started to show up. The Fajitas tacos were the bomb and enjoyed the chips and salsa. I will definitely plan to go back and hope to get Desirey again as my server

This was unfortunately disappointing! It started out fine, chips and salsa with water to start. The salsa was fantastic.20 minutes later, we finally had to waive someone down to order drinks and more chips and salsa. The waitress didn't know we were her table...Fine, no big deal, ordered some sodas (canned, btw, so they were $3 each) and the mini tacos, 3 beef and 3 chicken. 30 minutes later, we got the tacos. They look cute, but those took 30 minutes? Anyway, I took one bite of the chicken tacos and was shocked that they tasted like a sloppy joe. Yes, more like American bbq in a taco. Disappointing that the flavor had no hint of the right spices. Very sweet like bbq. Next I tried the beef tacos thinking, this had to be better. Well.... there was hardly any seasoning. It tasted like hamburger meat in a taco. All throughout, the waitress only came to the table to drop off the food and we had to waive her down for the check.It wasn't super busy, and they had enough staff, so probably caught them on a bad day. But I can't justify coming back to try again. Too many awesome Tex Mex restaurants around.

Sat at the bar to order some tacos to-go and I enjoyed some chips and salsa while I waited. Around the time I received my food and was about to leave, I stayed seated for a few extra minutes because I had to send a text message before leaving. The bartender rushed me out of my seat and asked me to sit right by some man I didn’t know, so others can sit down at the bar which is open seating. Patience and class are virtues that every person and business should have. I’m very disappointed on how they treated me there today.

Came here on a Saturday night, waited about 15 minutes for a table for four inside because it was cold (which was more than okay, especially because you can order drinks at the bar). You could tell the bartender knew what he was doing. The place is gorgeous and located right in the thick of the cool new-ish Bishop Arts area.Ordered:Mezcal Negroni (delicious)Tejas Old fashioned (tasted chocolatey but good)Spicy Cucumber margaritas (my favorite of the night)For food, I recommend the Pozole (VERY good, lots of slaw on top) and the Suadero enchiladas, which are pretty spicy. Mushroom poblano enchiladas and taco plate were also good. EXCELLENT chips and salsa! The flan was very thick and tasted more like cheesecake.Service was great! There were two individual bathrooms.

I got the 2 taco plate with carnitas and pastor. Carnitas was most flavorful and juicy, pastor was lacking classic noteworthy adobada flavor. My pastor also had a lot of fatty bits rather than cuts of meat.The rice lacked flavor but the beans, house salsa, chicken enchiladas my friend got were OUTSTANDING in terms of flavor. Salsa had a nice char note and the green sauce on the chicken enchilada was cheesy and nutty surprisingly, VERY good. Chicken was well seasoned too.The drinks were extremely delicious as well. I got the rumchata and margarita. Both amazing.Loved the ambience, very chic and lively, cheery.Definitely coming back during happy hour for enchiladas and margs.
