At least one of the reviewers appears to have this place mixed up with another place in the mall. This quick serve restaurant is at the southern end of the Dallas Arboretum. This is a pleasant outdoor seating area with a view of A Tasteful Place, White Rock Lake, and downtown Dallas. The restaurant is quick service - order at an order window and pick up when your number is called. The weather was brisk so we opted for hot food.Country Style Panini $13.50 (Sliced Turkey, Parma Ham, Provolone Cheese, Sliced Tomato, Pesto Mayonnaise on Rustic Rosemary Focaccia Bread)The sandwiches were smaller than we expected, but turned out to be a reasonable amount of lunch food. This panini was quite flavorful and satisfying. The salty meats played well with the melted cheese and flavorful pesto mayo. The bread had a decent chew and complimentary flavor.Tuscan Panini $13.50 (Sliced Chicken Breast, Sliced Tomato, Provolone Cheese, Boursin Cream Cheese on Rustic Rosemary Focaccia Bread)This sandwich was not as salty as the Country Style Panini and the flavor of the meat was more subtle. The provolone and Boursin cream cheese play the starring role in this sandwich. Overall, pleasant hot sandwich, but not quite as tasty as the Country Style Panini.Soup of the Day - Chicken Tortilla Soup $7.50 - this is a non-traditional tortilla soup. It appeared to be comprised of mostly of soggy tortilla strips and was very thick and chunky to stir. The soup base was orange and viscous - not at all like the clear chicken stock we were used to. However, the flavor was fantastic with tomato, cream, Mexican spices and grilled chicken permeating the tortilla strips that were actually quite pleasurable to eat. Two small pieces of bread accompanied the soup and I made sure I saved a piece to wipe up the sides and bottom of the cup so I wouldn’t lose a drop of soup. The tortilla soup was my favorite part of the lunch.Grilled Cheese Sandwich $7.50 - This was a simple grilled cheese sandwich and came with a bag of Ms. Vickie’s Salted Chips.

Parking: Either come early or circle the parking lot (people are leaving the Arboretum all the time… but people are also arriving all the time).

Me and my girlfriend celebrated our anniversary here and we were both treated very well. It was my first time and my girlfriend's second time coming to this restaurant. We started out with artichokes with the aioli and it was delicious. I kept it simple and ordered the burger with truffle fries and my girlfriend ordered a Caesar salad and the half-chicken with a potato puree. AMAZING. Our server was amazing that night and I hate I didn't catch his name! He even got us a chocolate chip cookie with sea salt to celebrate the special night. Thank you RH for the amazing time and we will definitely be back.

The restaurant is simply beautiful! It is hard to believe you are in Dallas! The architecture is really special! Our server was great, but thought the food was just soso! It was very casual and the restaurant isn't- I am bringing another friend here next week and can't wait for her to see it! Sincerely- Lynn Casper

Great for lunch. Not good at night. The outside patio closes at 9pm so cannot enjoy fire pits or view. Would have thought for holidays they would create a more festive atmosphere, maybe with lights in those trees or something!

We love coming there but I literally had to yell over the music for my 78 year old guest across the table from me to hear me. Great lobster rolls. Spent over $200 on lunch for 3 with tip. But way too loud between a full crowd and music. ?

We had the best experience last night for dinner. We are on our honeymoon and it's our first time in Dallas. The manager at the host stand comped our first round of drinks while we were waiting for our table. Our waiter, Anthony, was superb!! The ambiance and the food were amazing. They even brought out free dessert for us.

Excellent ambiance. Service was great. Food was above average. Downside was price. $518 for group of six where we had a burger, a French dip sandwich, a Caesar salad and two salmon orders. A bit extreme.

The setting is beautiful and everyone was really nice. The service was SO SLOW... I felt like we were an afterthought. The crispy artichokes were delicious! That made up for the slow service.

Our first time there. It was a little dark but beautiful. We were greeted shortly after sitting and waitress was attentive. I had roasted chicken which was good. It was tender & flavorful. He had salmon, whipped potatoes, broccolini... also good. Menu was smaller than I expected and dessert options had nothing enticing. Overall we enjoyed the location but menu is more lunch for us.

Had such a great experience for my birthday lunch. The food was great, drinks amazing, atmosphere A+ and our server Derrick was attentive and knowledgeable. Cannot wait to go back.

Fantastic experience overall! The ambience was perfect and we were greeted by the valet and hostess with smiles and great service. We had the chance to experience the Terrace while waiting for our table (which was ready at the time of our reservation). The terrace was beautiful and the staff was attentive. They told us when our table was ready immediately. The huge selection of wines was very surprising and lovely. Our food didn't take long to be prepared and did not disappoint. We ordered the burger and lobster roll. Both were cooked and seasoned to perfection. We will definitely return.

We were very disappointed in the service as we'd planned on being there for our daughters birthday, had a cake made, etc. only to later learn that you we'd be charged $10/person for them to simply cut the cake, yes, that's right cut the cake, not make it, serve it, bring it to the table, etc., literally just to cut the cake and we were told that we couldn't cut it ourselves. Absolutely rediculous, will never recommend them for family events/parties w/ anyone we know as a result. Total attempt to rip us off but it didn't work. As you can imagine, our daughter was very disappointed and upset about it. They were simply trying to extort money out of us thinking we'd just "take it" w/o impacting our celebration -- they were wroug! Beware of family events here!

Overall not worth the money. The positive is it's one of prettiest dining rooms in Dallas, good for a date or family occasion. Menu is very very limited and food just average. Hamburger and French dip were both very good. Salmon undercooked and came back still undercooked. Chicken was average. Service average for nice place. Ordered Yukon gold potatoes as side and would have been nice if waiter pointed out they came with my entree.
