Super fun bar in the Farmers market. Nice patrons, great bartenders, reasonable price especially for downtown area. Get a beer or half bottle mimosa to go and walk around and shop or pull up a stool and enjoy the great company and Playlist. They don't serve food but why would they. You are surrounded by delicious pizza and Italian sandwiches, sushi, steaks, Indian food and jersey meat pies. Grab one or all and enjoy with a cold one from 2nd tap.

Super busy in the Dallas Farmers Market, I managed to arrive just as a couple was getting up after their time here. Scored a seat at the bar and it happened to have a power outlet near enough that I could charge my phone. With the seat achieved, I ordered a beer and then popped over to Bellatrino to order a pizza.I was at The 2nd Tap for an hour or so with a couple of beers, a fantastic meatball pizza and some sports on the television while my phone made it up to 100%.Beers were delicious, the people walking past were entertaining, and the bartender was friendly and helpful. This was a pleasant stop!

Everyone on the bar staff is so nice. Nice management and owners. Friendly patrons enjoy the days at 2nd tap. Music Bingo Wednesday night at 7pm is always fun.

Parking: Part of Taylor St. Becomes a parking lot. Certain days and hours have to be paid parking. That's usually on weekends.

Wheelchair accessibility: 2nd tap has a wheelchair accessible place to sit at the bar.

At least 14 different beers that changes when a keg is empty. Many local beers.Friendly staff.Bring your own food from any stall at the Dallas Farmers Market.

Sat down here to enjoy a beer with my son yesterday afternoon. Firstly, the "taste" that I received was more like a mouthful of foam than a preview of how the particular beers I chose would taste and feel on my tongue--no care was taken with the pour. Secondly, after finishing our beers, I noticed that we had been served in plastic cups while the other, all white, patrons were served their beers in glass. True beer lovers, like me, know that the best way to enjoy a cold brew is in a glass. I find it curious that my Black son and I were the ONLY patrons that were not given equal opportunity to maximize the enjoyment of our beers.

The 2nd Tap has great staff. and awesome beer selection every week and when they add a new brewery to feature. And music bingo night is the best. especially after you have had a few.

it's a pretty cool concept to have tap takeover all the time

Here’s the concept: rotating Texas craft breweries (as in every tap) bi-weekly. It’s a craft beer lovers paradise. The owners know their beer as do the rest of the staff and it’s smack dab in the middle of the Farmers Market complex with awesome food options all around. I’d list some staff to ask for but they’re all so good you don’t need a name. Two TV’s (it’s a small joint) for sports or old movie viewing. Highly recommended.
