The Capital Grille Uptown is a special dining experience that consistently delivers. We shared the bone in ribeye, cream spinach and the lobster Mac & Cheese. The bone in ribeye was surprisingly more flavorful than past boneless ribeyes that we typically order. Steve U. was our server and he was outstanding!! We had to end the evening with the deliciously creamy coconut cream pie....with four forks! We go often to the Capital Grille Uptown. We think it is the best in a city of many steak houses. Enjoy!!

Our server, Tiago M, was GREAT!!!! All of the food, from the wedge salad, lobster bisque, lobster&crab cakes, tenderloin, lamb, Brussels sprouts, sautéed spinach to the warm apple tart, was prepared PERFECTLY! My cosmopolitan was very good as was the glass of Riesling, then moscato that my date had. Just a 5 star night overall. I highly recommend The Capital Grill. I will DEFINITELY be back!

This was my third visit to The Capital Grille, and it was just as exceptional as the first two—one of which was in Denver—showing impressive consistency across locations. Our server was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. We began with the oysters, accompanied by complimentary bread and butter that was easily some of the best I've ever had. For the main course, I ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly, while my girlfriend enjoyed the crab cakes. We shared the mashed potatoes, which were rich and well executed. A classic steakhouse experience done right—reliable, refined, and always worth returning to.

My wife and I decided at the last minute to have dinner at the Capital Grill. We normally go to the one in Plano but we were downtown and decided to go to the one at the Crescent. The experience was excellent. The restaurant was not crowded so we got seated quickly and all of the staff were very courteous and supportive. The food was excellent and the overall experience was excellent.

We booked for 8 PM on NYE. We arrived about 10 minutes early and walked up to people waiting outside and a jam packed lobby. Every single party there had a reservation. Each person that approached to check on their table was told 10-15 minutes but in the end every party got seated an hour AFTER their reservation slot. A few entitled individuals that decided to go complain and the manager obliged so they got to skip the line. Good for them I guess. Food was actually terrific but the overall experience was horrific.

What a divine meal!!! With so many options available in downtown Dallas, I cannot recommend this location enough. The service from Yacin A was phenomenal as he was attentive, kind, and extremely knowledgeable of both the menu and our needs. Jeff, one of the partnering managers stopped by our table to make sure our needs were met. Drinks were plentiful and and tasty. The scallops were divine as was the Gorgonzola crusted bone in NY strip. Our waiter informed us of the ability to order half portions of the cream corn with bacon and the au gratin potatoes. All sides were very tasty and plentiful as the half portions were more than sufficient for two people. Desert was also top notch, a flourless chocolate cake and a pancotta cheesecake. This place is extremely recommended and one should run, not walk to this location and prepare for a truly remarkable dining dinner experience.
Also: The atmosphere was decadent. Extremely clean and decorated well for the Holidays. Parking is easy in the self parking at the Crescent hotel/parkade. The restaurant also validates parking which is a nice bonus perk! Please do yourself a favor and dine here.
PS: Rock G was a great host and Jose made sure our waters remained full and the bread was warm and plentiful. Bonus points to Jose for boxing up the left overs and making sure they made it home with us.

Rock the Manager, is beyond fantastic. The wait staff is perfect as expected.....AND THE STEAKS are beyond fantastic with charred outside and beautiful pink inside! Great place!!

We celebrated our one year anniversary here. Felipe was absolutely incredible. He started off the night strong with great suggestions from the wine list and specials. We ordered a wide range of appetizers - from a wedge salad (5/5), prosciutto mozzarella (7/5), fried calamari (5/5). For our mains - 6oz strip (4/5), sea bass (6/5). They went out of their way to make our special night even more special. Geoff introduced himself to us and made us feel welcomed. Everything was impeccable , we will be going back
