The Cat Shack (Food Truck)

Cat Shack has catered multiple business lunches for me. The owner/chef Freddie Davis is fantastic and so easy to work with.

I am not a fan of box lunches but these are gourmet box lunches. As a vegetarian, it is hard to get a tasty, healthy sandwich. Usually they are boring or not flavorful. His portobello mushroom sandwich is fantastic! Guests love the other sandwiches as well.

Order catering from Cat Shack and everyone will compliment you on the lunches!

The tow men running the show today were awesome! This was a great experience and I'm so glad we chose this on a rainy day! I will most definitely come back and eat here!!

didn’t even eat here but the guy at the front was nice, just going to put out here that THERE ARE NO CATS AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. there is a review for this restaurant that says “friendly cats” - there are NO CATS HERE for someone trying to find a cat cafe

The food was pretty good, but the wait time and loud music were definitely turn offs, especially because it was nearly empty!

Cutest little place and super EZ to find. I got St. Paddy's Day corned beef sandwich to go. It was heavenly. ? I highly recommend it.

I have visited The Cat Shack a couple of times now. Here is my honest opinion. Proud representation of Black Businesses. The food is always hot and fresh. The CajunFries are the best around! The fish doesn’t taste like farm raised catfish or the most premium cut. The lemonade is good but overpriced at $5 a cup… and the cup it comes in is not nearly the size as the one displayed on the menu but they only have one size and fill it up with mostly ice. A drink, fries, and sandwich will run you well over $20 a person for lunch. Staff could be more welcoming to guests walking in, a smile or menu recommendation goes a long way with the overall experience. Overall, this place is a treat or reward after a hard work week but not the largest bang for your buck.

Everything about this place is GREAT! The dining room is nice, the owner was polite and friendly, and the food was amazing! I ordered the 6pc catfish and chicken tenders combo with cajun fries. The batter was light, delicate and very flavorful...the catfish was tender and the chicken was juicy. Every itemI had was fried but didn't taste 'heavy' at all. The shack sauce is fire...The fries were crisp on the outside yet soft and fluffy inside. The lemonade was delicious as well! 10/10 ??? I wish I lived here so I could eat it more often! Lol

Decided to try this restaurant as it's Lent,Ordered the shrimp and the catfish tenders for my mother. The shrimp was excellent and huge. I tried a piece of my mother's catfish, it didn't disappoint. I'll be revisiting even after Lent is over. Will try other menu items.

2nd time visiting this establishment, and I didn’t think it could get any better but it did! Bang bang catfish sandwich was delicious, but the star was the carne asada loaded fries! ? Customer service on point. Atmosphere clean and comfortable. Consistently great experience. Will definitely be a frequent customer here.
