Such a swanky, upscale, hipster hotspot hidden in Dallas! This place is def underrated and has an unforgettable feel once you are inside you will get to enjoy an open fire, great tacos and amazing service. The service is never over bearing but you will never have an empty water or empty salsa while you are seated. The food is off the charts! If you are trying to have a light meal or pig out this is your place! My mom always told me to judge a place by it's refried beans and let me tell you... they are a 10/10. Great atmosphere. Fun bar. And great ambiance.

An amazing restaurant in The Cedars area of Dallas. I make a point to head to Monica's at least once a week! The food never disappoints and consistently prepared and served. Monica is in the restaurant almost every day and that says a lot about her dedication to the business and staff. From the host to the wait staff to the bar staff.....they never disappoint. If you are in the area, at least stop by for a drink. The bartender Calvin is fantastic!

In town for a quick visit and stopped by for Taco Tuesday. Service was excellent- helpful and super friendly. Tacos were really flavorful. My favorite was the duck taco. Didn't taste the tortilla soup, but others at our table had it and said it was good. The pho presentation was very attractive. Ended the meal with cinnamon churros and ice cream - yum!

I finally arrived to Dallas early enough on a Saturday to eat here. I had the Mexican lasagna. It was very good. I walked in 20 minutes prior to closing and I received excellent service. I would recommend this place!

It's been many years since we've been to Monica's, actually since she was in Deep Ellum. The trip to Monica's was a surprise for my husband on our anniversary, and we decided to take our adult sons with us because we told them so much about Monica's of the past. The evening did not disappoint. The service was impeccable as always. The food and the margaritas were wonderful. The green pasta is as luscious as I remembered it, and while the chicken lasagna has changed, it is actually better than the previous edition, and I never thought I would be able to say that. It is one dish I have tried to reproduce at home multiple times. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will definitely return sooner than later.

Amazing food! They even had vegan and vegetarian options so my friend was able to eat more than anything beans, rice and guac! I had the chicken enchiladas with poblano sour cream sauce. Amazing. My husband had the beef fajita tacos. Amazing. The beans here are seriously the best refried beans I’ve ever had! Their queso is soooo creamy and tastes like real cheese! This place is a must if you’re in the Dallas area!
