BEST restaurant I’ve ever been to. My boyfriend made a reservation here for our 3-year anniversary, and everything was perfect. When he booked online, he requested a booth in the far corner, and they actually honored it — which was SO nice. I was the most comfortable I’ve ever felt while dining out, and the atmosphere was romantic and beautiful.
Me and my boyfriend are HUGE foodies — we always rate and talk through every bite when we eat — and we LOVED eating here. Everything we tried had us looking at each other in astonishment, so we really look forward to trying the full course meal for two next time we comeback.
Our server was amazing too. He was professional yet still super friendly. We look on the younger side, so I was worried we might feel out of place, but he treated us with complete respect and made us feel totally welcome. He even surprised us with a complimentary olive oil cake for our anniversary — it tasted incredible and came with a candle.
We ordered the ribeye steak, and every bite was savory, juicy, and honestly felt like something out of a gourmet cooking show. Maybe I’m glazing a bit, but it was our first time going to a restaurant this nice, and I’m SO glad we chose The Charles. I hope to come here every year haha!

What an excellent place! The food was truly delicious, and the service was top notch. From the hostess, to the waiter, to the manager and everyone working the floor. I don’t know which impressed me more the food or the service. Without a doubt worth it!

It was my wife's and I first time at The Charles, I had researched places to eat for my wife's birthday, it was second on the list, the over all pictures and menu sold me on it. I wanted a nice experience for her. We had a late reservation at 9pm but were still treated like we were the first guest of the evening. Met with urgency and care! Carolina our server was very informative and helpful guiding us on the evening's experience! We ended up taking her recommendation on the chefs guided tour of a 4 course meal for 2 and it was totally worth it! The food was all full of flavor and did not skip a beat! After dinner Carolina took us to the lounge side of the restaurant were we had a night cap and enjoyed the desert for my wife's birthday. Definitely a treat and a night to remember! We will be returning thank you for such a memorable experience all of the staff was very helpful and kind! I also got to try white truffles for the first time I have anticipated that for a long time now. 5 stars hands down

This was our first time at The Charles. We sat at the bar and the two servers... Jonathan and a woman whose name I unfortunately cannot remember, were wonderful. So friendly, and they gave excellent recommendations. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and we were offered complementary glasses of champagne which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was excellent. Wine by the glass wonderful... I appreciate the red wines being kept at 55 degrees. Atmosphere was buzzy, a bit loud in a good way and super fun. We will definitely be back, and we will also visit this restaurant group's other locations. Excellent evening all around!

Everything we had was delicious. Four of us shared two salads, 2 pastas, 2 branzinos, mushrooms, okra, and an olive oil cake. It was the perfect amount of food. The service was excellent as well.

Once again the folks at Duro and specifically the staff at The Charles have blown us away. The staff is top notch, they remember us and take great care of us every time. And the food is stellar! Try the pie. I promise you've never had better.

Everything from the host's greeting to Luca's service, from the appetizer to the dessert, was perfect. I'm a pasta lover, and the bucatini were just right — with a sauce balanced enough for you to taste the pasta.

Our dining experience at The Charles was magnificent! We were in Dallas visit our son and his partner and celebrating our wedding anniversary the evening we dined. Our server, Todd, is without a doubt, THE gold standard in service. He memorized everyone's names and orders and remembered allergies and our celebration. Great recommendations were made - never pushy, always thoughtful. Champagne was poured by Chad, compliments of the house to toast our day. Food was amazing - most notably the fusilli with blue crab and the oysters! As if the amazing service and food weren't enough, Todd met us as we exited to say goodbye and wish us a great visit to the city. He even made great dining recommendations as we shared we'd be in Seattle this winter and he used to live there. THE BEST. Run to the Charles.
