We recently went to dinner at The Charles after having a great time once 4 years ago. With the re imagined style and learning about their wine program, it was the perfect time to see what the buzz was about. Great staff, very engaged and thoughtful and the sommelier was a great help. We are big fans of half bottles so seeing The Charles providing this option was a win from the start. Italian inspired cuisine with a modern and exiting touch is what I would call it. Complimentary amuse-bouche, reinvented focaccia (non-traditional), and great home made pastas. We also shared the gorgonzala crusted NY strip which was very flavorful. I just deducted 1 star as the grilled prawns were lukewarm and for $12 each, I was expecting a bit more heat and char on them. (Note, a manager did come out to tell us they appreciated that feedback). No traditional sides but honestly, that didn't bother us as much as I thought it would. We had a great time!

Arrived with a reservation, valet’s immediately opened our door, welcomed us and we were invited inside. We were seated almost immediately after walking in, our waitress Winter was top tier; 100% on point with her knowledge of their menu ensuring we understood the options better. All of the staff was pleasant, special shoutout to the manager on duty (can recall his name) but he made us feel more welcomed than anyone. 10/10 not a single complaint. The service was so next level initially that I had 0 concerns about the food and I was right. Had the best pasta of my life at The Charles along with the seared octopus. Everything was perfect. Thank you to all the staff for running a wonderful establishment 👏🏾.

We celebrated our anniversary at The Charles, and Jonathan made the experience outstanding. He was very welcoming, checked in at the right moments, and kept everything running smoothly. Our server, Winter, was also great friendly, attentive, and paced the meal perfectly. Jonathan even arranged an anniversary surprise that was totally unexpected and really appreciated. The food was a 10/10 and the vibe was great. You can tell the team genuinely cares about the guest experience. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again Jonathan for a wonderful night.

The meatball trio was amazing and the beet salad should have been except the kitchen killed it with salt! Beautiful thick cut perfectly cooked then grilled beets, thick cut pickled red onions, all so gorgeous. A really nice vinaigrette and then destroyed with a ton of salt. I did tell the server, and yes he did offer to have the kitchen remake it but I was over it! Sorry, but kind of a novice mistake. The team here was really authentic and so nice however. Josiah was a total dream.

Incredible dinner with friends and colleagues. Last minute reservation on a bustling Wednesday evening. The food was great, but the service wass even better. So consistentt and what a team Our waitress, Winter was exceptional with great recommendations fun conversation and just super professional and thorough. We will be back! Thank you for a great night!

The Charles is the epitome of Unreasonable Hospitality! The service and food were both exceptional, earning a perfect score of 10 out of 10. Our server, Tori, was incredibly amazing, and the entire staff was welcoming and accommodating. As my friend and I finished our delicious dinner, our server kindly brought us the dessert menu we had been eagerly anticipating crème brûlée! However, to our surprise, it was not listed on the menu. We mentioned our disappointment to the server, and the manager promptly walked across the street to the steakhouse to fetch us a crème brûlée dessert! It was an unforgettable dining experience that truly made it one of the best we have ever had.

We enjoyed the 'Trust Us' menu with 'Trust Us" wine pairing. Every dish was delicious with tasty surprises. All the servers, especially Shelby, were knowledgable, cheerful, and attentive. We look forward to our next visit! (We were celebrating an anniversary, and starting with Jay, the valet, we were warmly greeted by everyone, and all wished us a happy anniversary! It was a special evening.)

I had a wonderful time sitting at the bar solo.. The bar team of David , Johnathan, and Luis was a well oiled machine and made you feel like family. 10/10 recommend sitting at the bar with them. From making expert recommendations on the food to expertly mixed drinks all while with humor and a smile. This team does it all.

My wife and I went to The Charles to celebrate our anniversary. We were offered complimentary champagne by the staff and everyone came around to acknowledge the occasion. The food was absolutely incredible and the service top notch. The menu is not massive but quite diverse and served in a shareable way. We had the pork chop which was perfectly prepared and the gnocchi were heavenly. Do yourself a favor and try the pistachio cannoli. Five star evening for us.
