First off let me say the customer service was excellent . The yams and green beans were terrible. The yams are not sweet it’s like they put to much vanilla extract . The green beans were over cooked and not seasoned. However the strawberry cake and tropical tea was good and my smothered pork chop was ok

Omg came in today and was skeptical! When I tell you this was some good food on a Sunday!! The oxtails were big & meaty! Fresh collard greens! & Mac n cheese from scratch that wasn’t DRY!! It is a bit pricey but worth it! I’ll be back! No bathrooms and it’s takeout only so you need to take your food home

The moment I entered, I was met with a friendly greeting. I ordered the meatloaf with yams and collard greens. I got the smothered pork chops with collars and dressings for my wife.
It only took around 20 minutes.
Wow that food was good. All of it. I came so close to licking the container. It can appear to be expensive... BUT... you have to consider how much food you get. You get a lot of food. You get really good food. And the service is really good and good people cost more. In this situation you are getting a bargain.
I can recommend this place with confidence.
The atmosphere is cozy enough to take a date or spouse. Sorry I didn't take pictures because I was too busy eating. I will next time.

They definitely got grandma with that lil elbow fat in the kitchen first time trying it today and it definitely didn't not disappoint whatsoever everything was well seasoned except for my green beans but Tony's shook them back but other than that everything was 10/10 and that tropical punch was 🔥 if you haven't been run their i definitely be back again to try other items

Just visited this place for the first time and had an excellent experience! Food was absolutely delicious, the stuffed turkey leg was so tinder, it fell right off the bone. Fried catfish filets are huge. Perfect amount of food, my husband is a big man: 6’3, 300lbs and still he had leftovers! The owner was the chef she is an amazing cook and extremely sweet, make sure to give her compliments! We will definitely be back! Recommend: Stuffed Turkey leg with Shrimp and Mac N Cheese Dressing with cranberry Sauce Pinto Beans Fried Catfish with Mac N Cheese & Collard Greens

The food and service was Amazing! I really wished that we bought double of everything. All cooked upon arrival, and tasted just like soul food at Thanksgiving! Oxtails, Smothered Pork Chops, Catfish Filet, and Beef tips with yams, cabbage, Cajun corn, mashed potatoes, green beans, fried okra, and mac and cheese. Heating up leftovers, which I typically don't eat, was just as Amazing! Best on the planet for me. Not over salted and pretty perfect in my book! Gotta try it!

Be aware they are slow but it seems as though only 2 people was working which is fine but be accurate when timing customers I was told 20 min wait for chicken fried chicken meal with 2 sides and catfish meal with 2 sides I placed my order at 4:33 but my food wasn’t ready until 5:37 which was unacceptable but food was fresh and hot so I didn’t complain .. BUT my green beans was a little bit salty, mash potatoes was bland and my chicken fried chicken was dried completely out and hard to cut due to being tough I recommend doing a batter and then flour maybe (eggs/buttermilk/beer batter)instead of just using flour and seasonings , my husband fish was fried crispy and seasoned well but had a old/burnt grease taste and the fries were not Cajun at all they had no seasoning I rate the place a 6/10
