They had us sit in the cold and wet lobby vs the actual restaurant which everyone who sat down for tea commented on. You were basically in the lobby bar with the Olympics playing on huge TVs. Nothing about the setting it said afternoon high tea, for something pre booked weeks ago it felt like a last minute after thought from the hotel.

My waitress Zunny was amazing. She was very kind and diligent with her service. There was room for improvement with the food though. I ordered a turkey club and the sandwich didn't fully match the description on the menu and didn't receive many potato wedge fries. Overall, I did have a great experience and the food still tasted good!

Looking forward to the Nutcracker Holiday Tea. I was most disappointed with the food. The small mini scone was delicious - the macaron wasn't my flavor - but it was a good macron. Other items were either way too sweet (it wasn't just me - everyone at our table agreed) or it just flat out wasn't that good. Finger sandwiches were meh. I've been to a lot of teas here in town and in other cities - NYC, London, Dublin, etc. - and value for the $120 was not good. No one was full. The staff was extremely nice - but VERY slow. We waited for almost 15 minutes to get a pot of tea. Once we finished our sandwiches, no one ever cleared our plate in order to “serve” the next course - I had to get someone to come and take our plates. We literally sat there for at least 15 minutes - plates empty waiting for them to clear. Our tea was empty - no one ever asked if we wanted more. The decor was really cute/ambiance was nice. Harpist was a nice touch - but I wouldn't spend what came to about $600 with tip for 4 there again. “Nutcracker Holiday Tea” drew me in, but there are other options in Dallas around the same price where the food is significantly better.

The food was very mediocre. Prices weren’t crazy but $10 for cereal and $20 for breakfast tacos felt steep. Especially when they were fairly bland. Not bad but not good at the same time.

The food is amazing here. I wasn’t expecting the food portions to be this much but I’m in Texas. The staff very family friendly. The breakfast is a move for sure. Parking is difficult so I do recommend the parking garage.

Last minute date day with my wife on New Year's Eve. The staff was attentive and even made an exception to letting us order breakfast during lunch. Great atmosphere and tasty food.,

Food was okay. I got the lobster frittata and it’s a lot of eggs which weren’t seasoned with really good (although small proportion) lobster plopped on top. Wish it had been mixed in or had more lobster because the eggs were very bland. My boyfriend got the steak and eggs and really enjoyed them.

The location is beautiful and has a nice view of the garden but plenty of other options nearby that are probably more diverse/better priced (expect to pay a lot for steak and eggs but $12 for half a grapefruit or $12 for cereal is wild).

We held several meetings in the Conservatory, and the staff accommodated everything so very well. The food was very good.

The food was good, but the service was exceptional. Our server, Juan, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. But it didn't seem that it was only him, everyone seemed to be going above and beyond.

We went for my younger daughter's birthday and the atmosphere was very nice. The food was really good (we had breakfast). The service was great. We enjoyed it all. The price was a little bit pricey but overall we had a nice time.

We are staying at the Crescent and wanted to try this place. Nothing about it is bad; but be prepared to pay $24 for 3 pancakes. We are foodies and do not mind paying for good food; but some of the items were a little ridiculous. I would say there are better options within walking distance. Food was good; but not spectacular. Convenient being in the hotel lobby and the view of the garden is great!

It was no one there to greet you. I had to fine someone to assist me. It was not a good look for my business meeting.
