Greatly enjoyed the music and the crawfish étouffée was the best I have had in the Dallas area. I will definitely go back. Sat at the bar and chilled with good beer and very good food. Only problem is with the street torn up and so much police presence with barricades making the visit to Deep Ellum, concerning and impossible for Uber/ Lyft drivers to navigate.
My food was delicious and hot. My favorite dish is the blackened shrimp over dirty rice and comes wit some good cornbread. The customer service was great. I been here a few times just to grab food and go. But atmosphere is a good vibe as well.
While visiting a friend, we discovered Free Man and was in awe. I've not had so much fun in quite a while. The food is wonderfully seasoned and tasty. Being from Louisiana, I couldn't ask for such a great time. The bands were continuously keeping the crowd engaged as we partied our butts on into the late evening.
