I walked in for the first time and didn’t feel very welcomed. None of the four gentlemen working looked happy to be there. I was initially excited since not many sandwich shops have sprouts anymore, but the chicken salad sandwich was just okay…nothing to brag about.

When I check out new spots, I look for a wow factor or something that makes me want to come back. Unfortunately, this place gave me more of a “get away” feeling instead. As someone who posts food spots all over Dallas and shares them with my fairly large following on TikTok, I wouldn’t recommend this place. My audience trusts me to find places they’ll enjoy, but sadly this isn’t one of them. 😕

I will die on the hill that this shop in particular makes the best sandwiches. I’ve had some qualms with other locations, but this one is perfect. I’ve worked my way through 80% of the menu. I will admit The Invention isn’t for me. The breakfast is also subpar. And they don’t have a grill so I steer clear of the cheesesteaks. I can forgive all that because the deli sandwiches are absolute perfection. I would give five more stars if I could just because they sell IBC.

Craig is the man!!!! I don’t know what he do to these sandwiches but every time he make my sandwich, it’s the best I’ve ever had from any Outdoor location. Hands down he got magical hands!!!!!! Thank you

I’ve been coming to this location for over 15 years. We got lunch from there today and the food was spoiled. We will not be coming back

I would have given a 5 if the bread was not so hard. Need softer white bread. Maybe I will try the wheat or a salad.

The best. I have been hooked on the Club Croissant with Provolone. My adds are campfire mayo, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, and pickled peppers! Regardless of the sub I always leave with a peanut butter cookie, and a smile.

I've been going to Great Outdoors for years the location off of Trinity Mills on Dallas. I was very disappointed when I receive my sandwich it felt like I was eating a veggie sandwich. The sandwich had very little meat (Turkey pastrami). Going forward I will go to the Beltline location...,

I come here at least once a week since is few minutes away from my job . Great customer service and my sub is always fresh ! Thank y’all ! Worth the money :)

Love The Great Outdoors! been eating there since the 90's at the old Campbell location before it was rebuilt, and you can still find me there at least twice a week!
