Recently had a $13 lunch burger that was pretty tasty. HOWEVER, the $1 surcharge for mayonnaise was outrageous. They have lost me as a customer. Amazingly the salt and pepper was free.

First time dining there and loved it! First time in months we’ve been to a restaurant and not felt like we were getting ripped off! Killer Rueben, daughter liver her burger and the side Caesar was good, too. Tom, the waiter, was a terrific guy! We’ll be back!!

Love the heights. Great food, low prices, and drink prices are low. Brunch is awesome. $4 mimosas. Lunch and dinner are the same.

Don’t know why I have not been to this wonderful place in past. Lived too far away. Now living close by in Lakewood area…And today ventured in here to discover an incredibly YUMMY meal selection!!,and also just discovered their fabulous dinner menu and also some breakfast/brunch offerings ALL of which I will explore in very near future!HIGHLY RECOMMEND this local neighborhood culinary dining-jewel based upon my own long-time professional restaurant design+service+food-on-plate experience!!Also highly recommend (and commend) JAKE for his courtesy, fully informed on menu, and also his friendly and humorous self!Jake totally ROCKS!!??

Delightfully surprised at the quality of food prepared in this establishment. Ordered the Braised Brisket, with collard greens and mashed potatoes. Delightfully lean brisket, large quantity of serving. I’ve heard the burgers and Chicken Pot Pie are delicious! I’ll be back!

I live in the neighborhood and usually love The Heights. I have come here numerous times over the years for both brunch and dinner, and the food and service is typically good. I went to dinner last night, and had the worst customer service I have had in a very long time. I was seated at a table and waited 10 minutes to even have a glass of water delivered. I waited another 10 minutes before having to flag one of the two servers down to ask for a beverage. The older gentlemen waiter said that he would return to take our dinner order. My guest and I waited another 30 minutes to order, and the waiter never returned despite having to walk past our table several times on his way to and from the kitchen. He returned to adjacent tables to take dessert orders while we waited to place our dinner order, and it almost seemed like he was intentionally ignoring us at several points. My guest and I eventually got up and left the restaurant. We walked right past the waiter on the way out and he did not say anything to us or attempt to stop us. It was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I will find it difficult to return there.

This is one of our go to places in Lakewood! We are there once, maybe twice, a week! We love all the servers and bartenders! We have been loyal customers for years and will continue to be for many to come!Food is always on point, service is perfect (and usually entertaining)! You can’t go wrong at The Heights!

The food was great. However, the mistake was sitting at the bar. The bartender was obviously more attentive to those who appeared to be ‘regulars’. He did not ask if I was enjoying the meal; he did not ask if I needed more water; I had to wave him down just to get the bill and wave him down once more so he could run my card. Though the service was bad, I did tip him, however. Here is one more tip— Al*x needs to improve on his customer service. It may be called The Heights but bad customer service can easily make it feel like The Lows

I love this local restaurant- I cannot get enough of not only the feeling of community but also of comfort and also the sense of farm to table ingredients.

My boyfriend and I dined at The Heights on a Friday night. The ambiance was great for date night - music going and a nice vibe without being too loud to enjoy conversation. We had the deviled eggs for a started, then The Heights Burger & Steak Frites for our entrees. Everything was delicious! These might be some of my favorite deviled eggs, the sriracha dollop really added a flavor profile that this dish sometimes lacks. Our server was very attentive and made great recommendations for bars that were walking distance after we finished dinner to keep the night going. This is a spot we will likely be back to... hopefully for one of their weekend brunches because their menu looks great.

Great Food and Service , I really enjoyed the atmosphere too The Brisket Pot Roast was delicious and the collard greens were the best that I ever tasted . I eyed the Hamburger at the table next to me, I am anxious to go back and try it

It's me

This restaurant has a old school classy bar vibe, and food to die for. I would put the heights burger up against any in Dallas.
