Classic Dallas elegance. And very "old school." We went for cocktails. Superb and great fun. So laid back. It's not true Dallas without a quick jaunt to NM downtown, followed by a late afternoon visit to The Mansion.Parking: Valet.

This place is a great vibe. We were in town for the eclipse and got to meet up with friends who moved outside Dallas a couple of years ago. This was the perfect spot! We got seated on the patio, and it was such a beautiful day for it! The service was top-notch. Timely food and drink service kept us happy. I highly recommend the crab cake; not much filler, just lots of crab meat! Also, the chicken schnitzel was so yummy; crisp and full of flavor. I'm still trying to figure out what was in the sauce. I loved it!! The bread pudding was so good that I didn't even get a picture.... Oops. What a wonderful afternoon brunch!

They have the best tasting menu in Dallas for the price. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are very generous.

Service went above and beyond holding our reservation when our driver canceled and made us 20 mins late. We ordered mostly light dishes and caviar service because of the time of night. Dessert was the highlight esp paired with the drinks we ordered. Chocolate mousse will always be a favorite for us here. Menu is a bit limited but options available are well-thought out. Ambience is always intimate

It pains me to leave a bad review...but this review has been 3 years overdue and coming. My husband and I love this hotel....it is magical and special and we look forward to coming here when he is on business in Dallas. The hotel is fantastic....but here's the thing...Bryce, the bartender in the bar is quite frankly horrible. Her sour and foul energy has literally ruined our experience on numerous occasions. My husband and I were recently in and she literally ignored us when not one soul except us was in the bar. She pretended not to hear us! We actually laughed. A year and two years ago....and again this time...all she does, is bitch and moan about her job, her life, switching shifts, and talks so loud, you can't ignore it if you wanted to! For hotel management and HR, if you don't believe me, have someone under cover that she won't recognize, go in on any given day and time....and see for yourself!!!! It's unbelievable and a terrible reflection of such a pristine and gorgeous hotel. Again, hate to leave a bad review but this one is long overdue. Good luck!

I've been to The Mansion Restaurant many times. I love their food, and their hospitality is awesome! All the negative comments that are posted are unbelievable. Have never had a bad experience there .

Decent fine dining with good food. Nothing too creative but certainly good quality for what you expect for a proper sit down dinner. High quality ingredients with good flavor balances. Good for dates and guest entertainment.

Fine dining..? The service is a little above average, but the food is absolutely basic. They try to dress it up with amuse-bouche and some cheap tricks... but anyone who has been to an actual fancy meal knows this food is painfully regular. I take no pleasure reporting this, but if you want an amazing meal this is not the place to have one.

The food was very mediocre with very small servings I had been going to the Mansion regularly 20 years ago. It was sooo disappointing. It used to be such a glamorous ( excellent food) place to go now all the new restaurants are much better

It is an elegant, comfortable, restaurant with attentive friendly staff. The food quality is always excellent. The expense level is very high, and probably overpriced. But it's an excellent special occasion alternative and a fine dining experience.

Overall the Mansion does not disappoint. We celebrated our 25th anniversary Saturday night. Service and Foor were excellent. Our table was near the entry and there was a lot of noise coming from the bar area but it is to be expected.

Outstanding! Service was impeccable and the food was perfectly executed. We got the 7 course tasting menu and wine pairings. Can't go wrong with truffles, but the standout dish was the halibut. Loved the sunchoke!
