**A Disappointing Iftar Experience** Tonight, we went to this restaurant for a business iftar dinner with a group of 25 people. We had a reservation, so we expected a smooth experience. Unfortunately, it was anything but that. The first issue started with the soup—something that should be served right away at iftar. Some of us got it 30 minutes late, some got it cold, and unbelievably, one guest received theirs **after** everyone had already finished their main course. That alone was embarrassing, especially since it made us question if the soup was even fresh. But the worst part? **Some of my guests never even got their main dishes.** After waiting **80 minutes**, a few of them, who had been fasting all day, **had to leave the restaurant to find food elsewhere.** As the host, I felt ashamed. I invited them for a business dinner, and they walked out hungry. The food that did arrive had its own issues. My Ali Nazik was served rare, and no one asked how I wanted it cooked. The lahmacun tasted like they had just put the filling of another dish on top of some dough and baked it. It was far from what it should have been. Bread service was another disaster. We asked for it multiple times, waited 30 minutes, and eventually, I had to **walk with the waiter to the kitchen** to check. Just as we got there, another waiter finally arrived with the bread. Why did it take that long? The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Even the tea, something so simple, was cold. They remade it, but it still wasn’t good. To make up for everything, the waiter brought us a dessert—but just **one** for a table of four and told us to share. That was their idea of compensation. Before leaving, the manager invited me and my family back as guests to make up for the poor experience. But honestly, if they truly accepted their mistakes, they **wouldn’t have charged us at all** for this disastrous night. I won’t be paying for another visit, but I also won’t be coming back. **The only things that actually tasted good tonight were the bread and water.** This was truly a terrible experience. I didn’t want to write this review, but if I didn’t, I would have felt responsible for not warning others.
