I recently dined at the Mayor's house by Selda located at Bishop Art District, and unfortunately, it was a letdown from start to finish. Despite the promising ambiance, the service fell below expectations. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us differently, and seemed more preoccupied with their conversation than attending to the customers. While we were waiting to be seated, confession among the staff and lack of coordination was apparent, resulting in changing our seats multiple times. We were deeply disappointed with the level of service and overpriced service!My review experience took a concerning turn when a friend of mine wrote a review of our visit. He received a phone call from the management, where they expressed their displeasure with his review and even threatened that he was not welcome at the restaurant anymore. This aggressive response to constructive criticism is both unprofessional and unwarranted.As a customer who genuinely wanted to provide feedback to help improve the service, I am deeply shocked and disappointed to receive such a response.I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking satisfying and attentive service. It's clear that they prioritize their ego over customer satisfaction, and I cannot support a business that lacks the humility to graciously accept feedback.

We had the best Mother’s Day lunch. Food was epic, it’s the most authentic turkish food.Our server Seval was amazing, she had the best attitude and smileWill definitely come back for more Turkish treats!
We faced a very poor service last night. They offered no service whatsoever e.g I asked for a ketchup which never was brought to me or they never asked me whether i need anything. I was also never given the water I asked for. I think the worst aspect is that, even though they did not offer any service, they charge the service fee by default, which is so unfair. Service fee should be charged for the services provided, which were non-existent in our case.

We visited Selda in Bishop Arts and unfortunately encountered rain upon arrival. Despite our desire to enjoy hookah, the staff paid us little attention and didn’t offer suitable seating. We ended up sitting in the rain, receiving subpar service. To make matters worse, we were surprised to find a 20% service charge already included in the bill, and yet they still requested an additional tip.Following my review, the manager contacted me, but instead of offering an apology, he spoke to me rudely and declared that I wasn’t welcome at the restaurant. He used inappropriate language and didn’t allow me to explain my concerns. As a result, I have no intention of returning and would advise others to avoid the restaurant due to its poor customer service.

We chose to sit outside at the Turkish restaurant, but unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par. Despite the rainy weather, nobody checked if we were comfortable or needed anything. Our server seemed disinterested and didn't even bring us water. It was my first time experiencing such poor service in the ten years I've lived here.
