Food was amazing!!!! If you take a little longer to understand the menu and have to go to the restroom they assume you are drunk. Joke is on them worked 12 hours today and had 1 beer. Just exhausted. Never again!!

Gorgeous restaurant and exceptional service. Our waiter even gave us a show with card tricks. The food and cocktails were fantastic. Did see they have a room for cigars and drinks. Will be back to check that out.

Hated it!!
Unless you want to be seen, this is not really the place for you. this is not where you go for good food, you just go here so that people know you're here.
Make a reservation and you will be endlessly harassed about the dress code, which is only enforced if you're a certain skin color (from what I observed). I literally thought about my outfit forever, getting nervous that it didn't meet the dress code. Then I show up and people have jeans with holes in them. WHY DID YOU HARASS ME?
The food itself ok. My food was so spicy I couldn't taste it. I also hated sitting next to my friend's lava rock, because I was basically in the kitchen. It's way overpriced and if you want a meal that you can actually taste, you should go to Seasons 52.
Will I go back? No.
Should you go? Also no.

Total waste of money. The food was extremely bland and the drinks were weak AND awful. The worst combination. This place was expensive. The only redeeming quality was the interior. The only thing worse than food was the loud OONTZ OONTZ club music. Unfollowing every person on social media who recommended this place because they have completely discredited themselves.

I like the creative approach, but you really don't need to reinvent the wheel on every dish. It's going hard for the upscale feeling, so if you want that ambience, this is a great place. It's just a little off when you're suggesting men wear suit coats, and you still allow guys with hoodies in. Drinks were good. Quatro leches cake was amazing. Lobster elote is basically corn chowder soup-not a fan. Good luck with parking!

I had waited for a long time to visit this place, so I could go when I flew to Dallas. I’m so glad it was worth the wait, I had asked for a special request and it was executed so well by the staff. The service is top notch, coming to the food I could get the taste of every flavor in the dish. I loved their side of green beans, salsa tray served very fresh, tortilla soup presented very well, salmon cooked as per request with some great sides. Ofc, the desserts are the best part, I had the ‘classic’ tres leches, so fluffy on the top and soaked at the bottom. The atmosphere/vibe is setup so well, making the experience exceptional indeed!

It’s fantastic and the dress code isn’t that bad. I was a bit stressed from some of what I read, and while some guests were dressed like they were about to walk the red carpet most people looked like they were in an Old Navy commercial. As for the food, everything was amazing. Simple things like chicken and beans are elevated by the skilled chefs they have in back. I had the beef and bone marrow tacos and they were so tender and delicious. The salsas, the drinks, even the chips are all made to perfection. The deserts though… ARE HUGE! So good but my god, so big.

This weekend I celebrate my birthday with some friends at The Mexican. We had the most amazing time in a long time. Everything was perfect 🙌🏾. The venue gorgeous, the food exceptional and the service by Carlos was magnificent!
We had Lobster Elote
Coliflora Asada
Crispy pork belly
Queso fundido
Filet
Boneless ribeye with bone marrow
And the shrimp tacos.
All 10/10!!!
We’re usually picky when it comes to food but the Mexican didn’t give us a chance lol.
The only thing I didn’t really like was when we walked in one of the security told my friend she needs to keep her jacket on. When we asked the server he looked at her beautiful long gown and said I have no idea why he said that but don’t worry take you’re jacket off and relax. Also since The host staff forgot to tell our server we had a birthday cake in the fridge 🙁 she just brought us one dessert to share. Overall we loved our experience! We will be back!

We wanted to try The Mexican restaurant and finally got the chance! Our experience was not the best as we expected it to live to the hype of excellent food and drinks- unfortunately it was subpar and nothing spectacular. The only item that stood out was their dessert. What bothered us the most was the behavior of their manager- who told us to vacate our table as they had other reservations- when clearly they had enough open tables. Her attitude towards customers alone was a turn off- thankfully we only encountered her towards the end of our dinner. The atmosphere was great along with well dressed guests- other than that- this place will be just a one time visit.

Google, in the attached picture, says the bar closes at midnight. We arrived at 10:41 for a drink at the bar but was apparently closed?? On a Saturday? Very odd and disappointing.

Went there with a reservation for a party of 8. We waited at the bar while our entire party arrived and we could be seated. The chips and six salsa variations were all delicious. We ordered several appetizers including the barbacoa tacos, ceviche, octopus chicharon, tostaditas, and guacamole. That alone was enough but I still ordered main entrees. All were good, but my favorite entree was the steak tacos. My husband had the filet and mashed potatoes. Not sure why he chose that since we were in a Mexican restaurant but he loved it. We couldn’t leave without dessert. We ordered the cuatro leches and carajillo (espresso with licor 43. This was the cherry on top and so delicious I will absolutely be coming back again. No photos were taken as we were enjoying the company and frankly there are enough online photos for people to know what they offer. They also do coat check and everyone must valet, so bring cash. You will not be disappointed here.

The food was decent, but nothing special. The service was mediocre at best. Our waiter disappeared after our food was delivered and never asked how it came out or about getting another round of drinks. We ordered the queso appetizer with no chorizo, and it came out wrong the first time (still with chorizo). The server delivering it was so visibly annoyed with us saying it came out wrong.
Not a terrible experience, but certainly not worth the price point.

Barman made poor cocktails and ordering was an inconvenience to him. Very difficult to enjoy your evening when someone is inconvenienced by your efforts to give them money

Went on a Tuesday at 6:30 and had a great time. Despite there being a good amount of people, there was no wait. I got the jumbo scallops which were soooo good paired with champagne
