We discovered Mr. Wong's on a previous visit and found it to be some of the best food we've had in Dallas. The service was fantastic and I was in and out fairly quickly.

I ordered plain wings and shrimp fried rice. I also received a reward meal for downloading the app, which included their chicken strips and rice. The strips were just as good as the wings. They were so crispy and breaded golden brown. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice was also delicious and didn't need any soy sauce. The cooks here did a fantastic job preparing their meals.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a place that serves chicken and rice that also has great service, great meals, and leaves you wanting more.

The service was wonderful, employee helped me understand menu and place an order for what I wanted. The food left much to be desired, tastless chicken and broccoli with white rice. Price was low but not worth going back.

Went there because of a Facebook ad. Their advertising is better than their food. Not terrible but not good enough for me to return.

EDIT: 11/2/25: I've revised my rating to three stars. Lately, I've noticed smaller portion sizes during multiple visits. What was once a large portion now feels more like a small one. For the price, other Chinese take-outs offer almost double the quantity.

This establishment, reminiscent of a traditional family-run Chinese restaurant, offers affordable and flavorful cuisine. The straightforward menu features popular dishes. I particularly enjoy the Combo fried rice with chicken, shrimp, and beef, which consistently delivers a delightful umami taste. The restaurant maintains a clean environment, and the ambiance is pleasant, although takeout seems to be the preferred choice for most customers.

I'm giving four stars because, while the portions are good, they're not quite large enough for my appetite. I often find myself needing to order extra items, like chicken wings, to feel satisfied. While I understand this may be intentional, I would appreciate it if they considered larger portions or an extra-large option, which I'd happily pay extra for.

I recommend this restaurant for a quick and delicious Chinese food experience.

My first time here and I'm glad I stopped by. The chicken really is delicious. The tempura batter makes it perfect for chicken fingers just enough crunch without overdoing the dough and very flavorful. The atmosphere was nice and bright and friendly professional employee. I will definitely be back when in town again.

Fried chicken = On point 👌
Fried fish = Alright.
French fries = Breaded. Decent. Above average.
Fried rice = Absolutely soaked in grease and probably won't order again, but that's not stopping me from coming back for other things.

Prices? Where else can you get a whole meal for three people dunked in a fryer or drenched in cooking oil for $20?

It sure beats Eggroll Express nearby. Their food was awful.

I'm gonna try Mr. Wong's Hawaiian wings next 🔥
