Weekend breakfast at OPH with good friends is always enjoyable. The food is well prepared, and the service, particularly when provided by Kelly, is exceptional!

Think again if you write this off as being your grandmother’s pancake house - they’ve updated the menu offering significantly, yet kept the favorites you came for years ago.

Also, I noted that the menu is “tight” - fairly small - a very good decision. (A red flag is a huge menu with a wide choice of ingredients - it can’t all be fresh, nor made consistently). The dish items can draw from the same group of ingredients. Thus they can run a kitchen with ingredients that are always freshly replaced and don’t use frozen items for that rare order. I wouldn’t be surprise if they don’t even have a freezer.

Service is smooth. Food is just right. Interior is clean and kept up - although it may need updating next. But you came for the nostalgia of breakfast with your grandmother, right?

We went there for breakfast because I was craving a delicious Belgian Waffle. Let me tell you they did NOT disappoint! It was made to perfection with a good amount of Strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped cream. I also had 2 eggs over easy with ham, all cooked perfectly. Our Server was so nice and very attentive. The place was cozy, clean and busy. I most definitely will go back. Sorry no pics, I was so hungry, I forgot.
