This place is AWESOME. The drinks are delicious and ~artsy~, and the bartenders are chill and quick to serve you. Also, if you happen to be there on a night where they do the cocktail making classes (or if you get the chance to do one) it is a BLAST - music is great and it feels like a party in there. 10/10 recommend if you're in the Mockingbird area!

What an awesome experience!! Came in to take their evening cocktail making class for my friend's bachelorette party. We did not stop laughing and smiling the whole time. It was such a fun experience that People's Last Stand offers. Our teachers were so amazing and friendly and really helped us out. They also have options for non alcoholic if you have someone in your party that cant or doesnt drink. The drinks were very tasty and you definitely get your moneys worth in terms of strength of drinks. I would highly recommend for date night, birthdays or any type of fun gathering. The bar is super cute too so we hung around afterwards to hang out. Will definitely return whenever i'm in Dallas next!

I am furious right now, checked my bank account to see that not only was I overcharged, they also charged my card more money all over again on a different day! The bartender was high out of his mind and moving like a snail in between going blank every few steps and forgetting people’s orders (then I was told he was the owner of high is even worse). I literally ordered two $8 drinks and was charged $36… Then magically another $24 today while home a in my bed a hour away and definitely was not at people’s! The drinks are nicely priced, but the service is absolutely terrible! Tables too close together and a dance floor smaller than a 4X6 closet big enough for 2 people to dance together ?? Not to mention I fell is some wasted liquid on the floor right before leaving. However, the overall vibe is awesome though.

Took a cocktail class and really enjoyed it. Whoever you get to teach your class will really make a difference. Our group had no cheers, and could hardly hear each other speak over the private party happening in the same room. I ended up hanging around and playing some games after the class and saw the second group of the night come in. The woman leading their group was much more engaging and organized

Little bit of food they offer was excellent. Mixologist knew her stuff and made phenomenal drinks. We won't return because it was apparent from the somewhat cordial but not friendly service that we were not welcome. I have worked almost every aspect of front of house: busser, hostess, server, bartender and manager. I try and understand why a server would seem disinterested, slow, not completely competent or any one of a number of things one can experience as a patron of service. The level of disinterest we experienced from the bartender was bordering on snubbing, so we won't return. It was just clear that this super small establishment is used to a closely knit clientele of which we were not members.

We went to People’s Last Stand for a stop on our bachelorette weekend in Dallas! It was such a fun cocktail making class and we all learned so much. There were lots of different bride groups in there and everyone made it really fun. We made two cocktails and it even came with a charcuterie board which we didn’t even know we were getting! The first drink we made was okay, but the second one we made was my favorite! Prob just depends what alcohol you like. Overall, it was a great spot and something fun for us to do inside! Highly recommend!

I met up with a friend to enjoy the DJ, we danced all night and had a great atmosphere. parking is good, no food that night but you can walk next door to a pub or bar to order. The patio lifestyle is on point too!
Incredibly UNSAFE shopping center. Visited here after watching a movie. The drinks were tolerable. However my buddy’s car was stolen in the parking lot of the business 15 feet away from their so-called “security office” who upon notifying them did not help us and just told us to call the police. Their security is useless. I will avoid this center and its shops till the businesses in the shopping center create a safer environment for their patrons.

They taught us how to make a drink like a pro. The drinks were tasty & STRONG. This class is worth every penny. We made 2 drinks and they gave us a glass of champagne for $50. Absolutely loved this bar. We went for a cocktail making class that was so fun and engaging, and we learned a lot! The ambiance is classic with tables and couches. The bartenders were incredible. We stayed after the class and had the bartender make us a tailored drink to what we liked. Both delicious, and we'll be back!

We had a lot of fun doing their cocktail class. Our instructor was very charismatic and taught us two cocktail drinks. I kept the recipe and I still make it when hosting to this day.

I came to the 2:00 class with my husband to celebrate our birthdays and it was everything I'd hoped. We were late, but they still accommodated us. We were quickly seated and followed along with a group. We got to meet other people at our table, which was fun as well. During the intermission, we ordered the charcuterie board, which was filling and delicious! Both drinks were unique and tasty. The ambiance surpassed my expectations. Although it's a small bar, the drink selection was on point, the music was a perfect mix of rap, R&B and pop and the seating was good as well. I will certainly do something like this again when we are visiting Dallas!
