My husband and I strolled into Playwrights after many months of wanting to visit! We live a bit outside of Dallas, and an evening show at the Winspear Opera House was the perfect reason! The pub atmosphere is cozy, but open with high ceilings and dramatic but also quaint chandeliers. Art and signage on the wall made us long for pubs in Ireland, having visited in the summer of 2025! Stumbled into this pub last night and found a new favorite spot!! The food was great with a huge selection of alcohol. Out server Natalie was beyond helpful, friendly, and just a delight. And they validate parking lol Definitely going to spend more time here!
Stopped in for quick to-go food and a drink. Got a Guinness and a whiskey, and 20 minutes later I was walking out grinning ear to ear.
