Great place inside the Virgin Hotel. Wonderful music, service , food and drinks. Staff was amazing. Enjoy whenever staying at the Virgin Hotel or visiting for an event.

Great atmosphere but service is sorely lacking. Staying at the hotel for work and popped by on a Sunday afternoon to relax at the pool—it was understandably very busy since it was a weekend, so unfortunately my experience was not all that relaxing since there was a loud DJ playing. They do a bag check at the entrance so I had to give up my plastic water bottles before coming in. They do have water stations with small cups around the pool but on a hot day, those go quickly. I met a coworker who was already there and watched as a server walked right by us and delivered drinks to the chairs next to us, but did not check in to take our order. I figured it might be quicker to go to the bar myself, so I did and waited about 8 minutes as the second person in line before one of the apparent two bartenders could take my order. Instead of greeting me, he pointed at me to take my order—a mocktail: Born Yesterday. The bar was very small and appeared to have all of the servers and bartenders behind it and two of the servers were shouting and laughing with each other so loudly that I had to shout my order twice for the bartender to hear it. I took the drink back to my chair and immediately regretted not asking for a cup of ice for water, because we didn’t see another server stop by for another 15 minutes. When he did stop by, I asked him for an ice water as my coworker ordered her drink, and he dismissively said: “there’s water stations all around the pool sweetheart”. I told him I saw them but there was no ice available to keep them cool and they also only held about 6 oz water. He said he guess he could bring me a cup of ice. I told him not to worry about it and went back to the bar, waited another 10 minutes for said ice, just to find all the water stations had been removed for refilling and then had to wait another 5 minutes at the bar for them to fill up my ice cup with water before heading back to my chair. The server must not have heard my request to cancel the ice because then he brought an actual ice water out about 10 minutes later (25 minutes after ordering then canceling it). I eventually ordered another mocktail and while waiting decided to dip into the pool—I saw our server drop other drinks off to people in the pool so was hoping he might do the same for mine but watched as he brought my drink back to the chair. All in all, probably a first world problem kind of day, but I do think spending $36 on two non-alcoholic drinks (prior to tax and tip) does come with a reasonable expectation of better staffing and more elevated service, even on busy days.

I came in on a Saturday and bought general admission just to grab a quick bite pool side. When I walked in I saw reserved seating (that cost money) and I saw FREE day beds that were first come first served. I noticed people were leaving their belongings on the free day beds as place holders, while they got in the pool. So I asked wait staff was this allowed, and 2 of the girls collectively said “no they shouldn’t be doing that”
So I walked back in and sat at the free day beds, filled with stuff, and a white man approached me and said this is my bed but it’s okay I’ll let you stay here. I chuckled and said yeah the wait staff already told me I’m good. And startled by my response he said no I’ve been here all morning , and I said yes at a FREE day bed. You can’t just leave your stuff here as a placeholder and expect to have it reserved all day. Reserved seating cost money and you didn’t spend any money. And then he threatened to have me kicked out. Lol, it amazes me how they think they have this much power especially when they haven’t spent any money. Eventually a waitress came over took my order and I gave her my credit card and she completely ignored this disgruntled man because she wanted to make some money!

I was there for a private cocktail event that was fabulous. The space is really nice and the rooftop would've been great if it weren't so chilly that evening of my attendance. I can't speak to the food because I didn't eat. Lots of photo opportunities
Snobbish to their customers, but the drinks taste good. Nice views and the spinning red chairs are fun. The bar opens at 9 pm with the pool already closed.
Spent over $1200 dollars to be treated terrible by our waitress Kim! When we arrived the hostess took the debit card to start our tab and explained that our waitress would bring it back once she came. We rented out a cabana and waited over 30 minutes before she actually came over to wait on us. It probably would have been longer before she came to wait on us but we had to physically find her. Then when we found her she was drinking on the job and the debit card that she was supposed bring back to us was carelessly laying on the table in another parties cabana. Then she brought her manager over and he did absolutely nothing but make excuses for her saying it was an ‘overwhelming day’ Then the funnest part of it all was when it was time to leave she brought security over with her when it was time for us close out our tab. I never like to make race a factor but I didn’t see security go with her to close out anyone else’s tab. Aside from the awful service the atmosphere was good.

Wonderful atmosphere. Had our company holiday party here.
Went here on Thursday night on warm evening in December. Good crowd and drinks along with excellent view of Dallas downtown.
