Great spot for a nice dinner out. Warm and cozy. The food was excellent and the bartender/waitstaff are all professionals. Started off with crispy fried asparagus , followed by a wonderful fish special. And by the way, Mac & Cheese goes with everything. Perfect dinner

I was very surprised by the uncharacteristically low quality of the food. The fish in the fish and chips was very small. I've had the dish before and they were huge. Also the pecans in the squash soup tasted old, not fresh. It was an off night for me but my husband really enjoyed the meat loaf.

We have been to Neighborhood Services many times. We had not been back to the Lovers Lane location in quite some time. When sat down, the reason this restaurant is so good is because it is the complete package. The crispy asparagus, the bistro salad and the hamburger were as good as ever. The bistro salad has always been a favorite. The little surprise on this visit was the fried apple pie. It was very good. There is another chef in Dallas who offered a fried pie for dessert. His is the best. This pie is the best since then.

Our reservation was for 7:15pm. We arrived at 7:15pm but didn't get seated until 7:50pm. They gave us some asparagus as a gift. The asparagus was very tasty.
I absolutely love Neighborhood Services it's mandatory that we ( my staff and myself) eat here each time we are in Dallas! Gavin is ironically our server each time and he is outstanding!!! Thank you for always giving us a great experience!!!

The last two times I've been to NHS I've had to wait 30~40 mins after my reservation time for my table. There's been no compensation I.e. a free app or drink. The food was not as good as I remember from past experiences
