The donuts are delicious and more cake forward. I wasn’t expecting that so my initial bite was filled with some hesitation about whether I liked it. The more I ate of it, though, the more I liked it. The brisket kolache could have use a bit more cheddar. Overall, a solid food choice when you’re at Klyde Warren.

A friend and I were biking past Klyde Warren Park and met AMAYA working in the Salty food truck. She was wonderful to chat with and had a lot of enthusiasm about her job, being able to serve the folks at KWP, and her future with the company. Refreshing personality.
I'll try a pastry there, next time I bike there. I'll make an exception to my normal food intake. I cannot rate the food, because I have a mostly ketogenic diet. However, I am well aware of what it takes to bake delightful pastries, and do miss baking pastry at home. Until we meet again, Amaya!

The GF donut was more a dry chocolate cake than it was a donut, but very pretty looking! Their original brioche glaze was alright at best... this place feels gimmicky (i.e. designed for instagram pictures over flavor & mouth feel). Is it a place to go out of your way for if you're craving a delicious, solid donut? No. Is it a place to go out of your way to take cute pictures at the park? Yes.
Got 8 donuts on Thursday morning. All the chocolate ones were hard as a rock and about 1/3 smaller than a month ago. Not coming back.

Horchata donut, maple bacon donut, jalapeño sausage kolache, chai latte & americano. Delicious food truck next to the park!
5/23/2025-Back to Salty truck at the park today and Amya was working. We tried new flavors recommended by her. Her warmth and great customer services is such a pleasant experience.
I always look forward to coming to the Salty whenever I visit Dallas. Great donuts and amazing customer service from Amaya. I have had the pleasure of being served by her a few times and she is always friendly and really helpful. She was really good with my child as well and answer all of our questions about the flavors that 5 year old was asking about and explained in a child friendly way.

Sad... had to throw all donuts in the trash together with the milk water that was supposed to be coffee 👎👎👎$30 lesson learned
Service needs to improve
I love these donuts, yall need tonbring yourself out to the East Coast and put Dunkin Donuts out of business.
In the heart of downtown Dallas, just next to Klyde Warren Park, you'll find a food truck that's sure to delight even the sweetest tooth. The girl inside the truck is super friendly and will be happy to help you. She'll suggest the best option for you from a small but delicious selection of donuts and more.
I went there specifically for donuts right before leaving Dallas for Fort Worth. I quickly park my car and head to the food truck. I went for three donuts: a tiramisu, a chocolate whoopie pie, and a mixed berry cheesecake. I just love the donuts! They're so rich and creamy that you can't stop eating them. I'm happy to say that they are absolutely gorgeous! You can enjoy them first with your eyes and then with your mouth. And they're presented in a really elegant package! I'm so glad there's no such place in my town!
Super cool looking donut creations. Leaves you to your imagination and very good Donuts there.
