We only come for the night life I've never tried the food but the drinks are on pointtttt. They have a dj on the weekends & the dance floor is almost always full & there is a dress code some come cute! The drinks are about $7-$9 each. So better than uptown but not better than the hole in the wall bars. Ha. The staff is just so/so. You dont really see any of them besides the bouncers at the entry and the bartenders. So not good also not bad. The parking is actually not THAT bad because its in a huge shopping center so you will always find a place to park but it just might not be RIGHT next to the entrance. I've never seen that they have valet. Order a Vodka Pineapple or a Vodka Sprite with 2 limes. You'll thank me. Xo.

Food was good. Had the grilled salmon. I replaced the orzo for a veggie and they charged me an extra 2.00 which I do not think was fair.

I've been here a few times for brunch and am finally ready to write a review. The food is good, but pricey and the portions are small. I also think the mimosas are pretty watered down. Uptown is home to so many great brunch places. If you're looking for great food and good mimosas, this wouldn't be my first choice. The DJ is usually pretty good though, so I tend to only go for the experience of being around other young brunchers.

Their mimosas are so cheap! Their food is unique and delicious. It's dog friendly on the patio, and they aren't too crowded on the weekends.

Good weekend bunch spot with outdoor patios on nice weather days. Excellent food and friendly staff. Even while busy the service was fast. Definitely recommend the Biscuits & Gravy. Would have rated 5-stars but wasn't a fan of the music they blasted from the outdoor speakers...mostly hip-hop.

Beautiful restaurant, nice young atmosphere. Joshua was our sever and he was great. Joshua was attentive and came by our table several times. Only giving 4 stars because food was average, nothing too special.

Social House is basic. It's basically just another boring Uptown bar for people who want mediocre, overly sugary drinks and generic, uninspired bar food. It functions fine as your typical Uptown hotspot, mainly catering to the fresh-out-of-college crowd who won't mind sticky floors and boring cocktails. It's sad because the menu itself looks impressive at first glance, with a hearty selection of "house-made" cocktails and a broad selection of food, but the execution just isn't there. My margarita flight was $5 more than any of the regular margaritas and probably had the same total volume. I actually quite liked the standard margarita flavor, but all of the fruit variants (including swirl) had a super artificial flavor that was hard to tolerate. I didn't finish several of them as a result. I expect much more from a $15 cocktail, and Social House has proven they can't justify that kind of price. The rest of the margaritas are $10, but they taste like a $4 generic you would be served at a college shot bar. The pizzas were flat in overall flavor profile but were tolerable. We didn't eat a full meal there, but even for happy hour I wasn't that impressed. To give them credit, there is a decently wide selection of beers, and I've found local rarities on tap on occasion (e.g. Lakewood Lion's Share IV over a year after its release). But it's walking distance to Ginger Man, where you can enjoy your beer in an inviting, more mature atmosphere. Inside, Social House reminds me of a low-budget chain restaurant, with very little natural light. Our service wasn't great either, we had to prompt our server to order, and it took forever to get food and our first round of drinks. And this was at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday when we were the only people on the patio. Overall, Social House is unimpressive and easily skippable given its proximity to any number of other bars and restaurants.

Good place to grab some drinks. In warmer weather the backyard of the bar is fun and has lots of games to keep you busy. Reasonable priced and the staff is friendly. I haven't tried to food.

Everybody talks about The Social House in Addison but I went to The Social House in uptown Dallas. What's the difference? Anyway, went on a Saturday morning at 11am right when they opened to beat the crowd. We were able to sit and be served immediately. They were playing nice tunes in the restaurant nothing boring. Since it was my first time I glanced over both the brunch and lunch and dinner menus. I chose the brunch because why not? We were at brunch, and I like chicken and waffles. I ordered the chicken and waffles, it'll run you about $18 but it's a pretty big piece of chicken and the waffle is good as well. The waffle came with jalapeí±o gravy and syrup. Now, I ordered my gravy on the side because jalapeí±o gravy (hot) and syrup (sweet) just sounds like it makes you sick, in fact I'm sick thinking about it but once I tasted it I drizzled both the jalapeí±o gravy AND syrup over my chicken a waffle, and it was a good day! Enjoy!

Great for large groups, and wait time usually doesn't take long. Lots of TVs for the men in your group as well. GREAT mimosa specials-probably the best in town. Service is usually their miss. We had one time where our server literally left and no one could find him. Best thing on the brunch menu is the short rib hash. It is SOOOOOO good and flavorful! Food is a little pricey but they have things for everyone. Breakfast tacos are filling but a little flavorless. Don't get shots-they're $10 each for an adios. A CAN of Dos Equis is also $6 Backyard has some fun games (tic tac toe, jenga, giant beer pong) but has no shade and it gets hot in the Texas summers

Such a charming place! This is a very popular spot on a Sunday so make reservations for larger groups and be patient on getting a table. We were quoted an hour wait for 4 people on Sunday at 12:30pm. It actually only was about 25 minutes... so perhaps they were just feeling overwhelmed at the hostess stand. The service was friendly and the food was great! I ordered from the lunch menu and got one of the pizzas. I also got a brunch drink (peach Bellini! Yum!). Everything tasted amazing. And don't forget the macaroni from the appetizer menu!!! TO DIE FOR. Only problem was the server took FOREVER to get us cashed out. I mean FOREVER. And it was WAY too loud inside. Still a fun time!

Great spot to have brunch with either a small group or a big group! Get there early cause this place stays packed. Especially on the weekends. If you know you have a big group, go ahead a make a reservation. People here are not in any hurry to leave their table once they finish eating. Most people continue to socialize and drink! So don't get mad if you are waiting at the door! Cool bar area as well, so if you are waiting, the cool thing is they let you order drinks from the bar and bring them back to the waiting area! Brunch menu is btw 12-16 bucks, and it's really good! I must say I have a couple things here and the food is always on point. Their brunch drinks are pretty good! I ordered my bloody mary of course the way I wanted it to taste, and it came out perfect! Love the fact that music is playing! On this visit they had a cool MJ vibes going and we were all digging that! Loved that the manager took the time to come over and make sure we were good. In addition, I saw the manager walk over to about every table, even at some points cleaning and refreshing drinks! Our waitress was pretty cool, she made sure to always come around and check on us! I will for sure be back.

As a first timer, the parking situation is hectic. We arrived way early just to find parking as close as we could. The Social House was very nice, there is Valet Parking but we had already found parking. We were having are School Class Reunion here tonight. The server held the door open for my wife while she walked in. Very nice setup for big groups. Love the patio area, we were in and out most pf the night. We pretty much to over the whole inside bar area. The bar staff was great and friendly with everyone. They were very fast and served with a smile. We tipped on every order. The food was wonderful from the fried pickles and stone oven Prosciutto pizzas to the chicken wings. The miniature beef slider bites were a hit and perfectly cooled and very tasty. The Tomato Bruschetta and Pesto very yummy. The night turned out to be a wonderful evening. Next time I would just use Uber.
