I was trying to be polite by just leaving one star. The owner then replied saying it was a fake review. I will gladly show you my receipt.
My partner and I stopped in for a night cap after celebrating our anniversary. The bartender/server was incredibly talkative to the point of making me feel uncomfortable. He starting playing a You Tube video of a house burning. All very awkward and made for a very memorable time, not that I will look back fondly on this memory. I can see now why the place is like it is, when the owner is trolling it’s patrons on the internet.

This review is simply for one reason: if you ever plan to visit this venue and see a black haired woman behind the bar looking extremely angry at life, named Gretchen, do yourself a favor and leave immediately. I’m a professional musician and have performed all around the DFW Metroplex for over 20 years and I’ve never experienced a more rude, angry, and seemingly for no reason hateful human being.
I’ve been visiting and even performing at The Wine Therapist since its original location across the street and Phillip, the owner, and the other bartender RJ are absolute delights that I’ll write a separate review for.
Again. Beware the lady bartender.

Lady who answered the phone was very rude.
8/13/2024 I am not taking my review down. I called and the lady was very rude. Makes me not want to come in.
Was recommended a great white wine to go with my Thai food from down the street! Friendly, knowledgeable service, and I love how many community events they do

If you’re looking for a casual neighborhood wine bar, that attracts a diverse clientele, Wine Therapist is worth a visit. The lofted minimalistic design with communal tables and benches conjure an old English pub vibe. Similar to many venues in the area, a design revamp would go a long way, but still, a good time can be had by all. I’m not a wine snob, however I don’t believe true connoisseurs of wine or beer, will be impressed with the limited options, or prices. Why visit Wine Therapist? I love supporting local artist, and from Open Mic Mondays to varied musical artist throughout the week, there’s always something to enjoy, even a wine tasting area that’s great for parties (maybe there are different wine options during a tasting.) Parking is easy, and although they don’t serve food they allow orders from nearby venues. Hope to enjoy the arts with you at Wine Therapist soon! Xoxo Lorenzo!

——- Read This Review ———GO! Awesome, intimate, warm and inviting! Excellent wine selection and private wine service is available for the more discrete patrons who want an impressive collection at home. Looking for delicious wines, here they are. (And no grocery store wine!)Dark wood antiqueish long wood tables on the main floor with a small stage for musicians who pop by on rotation. Upstairs area is a more intimate setting. I can’t wait to go back.I’m going back!

This is the most personalized wine buying experience you could imagine. Philip takes the time to get to know your personal tastes and makes recommendations to suit you. If you’ve got a request he’ll go out of his way to procure. This is the only place to buy and taste wine.

Our book club meets in the upper room. It’s a great spot for small gatherings!
The bartender was rude & only interested in keeping her boyfriend company. The place smelled like mold. The wine section was straight out of a supermarket. Waste of money &

Excellent service, attentive and friendly.
BYOFWe hosted a small friends dinner and they were so accommodating and helpful. The wine and wine suggestions were wonderful as always. The live music that night was also a hit, a bit loud but a great musician. We love it here. Laid back and a great neighborhood spot.
