We saw this place while in Dallas for anime fest. We came back to it today just to try it. The food was very well priced and very delicious. The chicken fried chicken was cooked perfectly but it was a bit cold. But I blame that on us eating at the wrong time between meal times. It's a cute little place to eat at.

Great étouffée and seafood gumbo! Try the chicken fried chicken and gravy as well. Also the Mac and cheese is amazing.

This is my favorite place in the area. I frequent Three Birds a few times a week. If you like southern style food, this is your place. They offer rotating daily specials such as catfish, chicken fried chicken, meatloaf, salmon croquettes, red beans and rice, shrimp etoufee, seafood gumbo just to name a few. My favorite thing is they load you up on the sides.

Mac n cheese is the best! I ordered a pan of it for thanksgiving a while back and it didn’t disappoint!

Very disappointed! I wanted to try their breakfast. Plus, there was no line. First, there's no one to greet you and take your order. You have to fill out a sheet and wait for someone to come get it. Second, when the guy finally came I made sure to verbally tell him "no cheese!" I stated I even crossed it out on order form, but again NO CHEESE. thanks. Finally, after 20-25 min he finally brings out a container and proceeds to charge my a higher price. He corrects price. I open my container and instsntly hit with the stench of cheese! I called them back to inform them of the error and the guy sounds irritated. He says unapologetically, "so you want your money back!" I said yes. He hung up on me! Didn't even offer to make me the correct sandwich vs giving back my money. Obviously, this must happen often with them. I brought the sandwich back to restaurant, he still didn't apologize or offer to replace sandwich, just said, "money... here!" And walked away. I went down the hall to another restaurant and only had to wait 7 min for correct order! I had to spend more money, but at least it was correct!

I went to this restaurant with my students early in the morning for breakfast, and we picked it since there was few people in it. The whole process seemed unorganized from the beginning by having us fill in our orders on small tags and then submitting them. I opted for a chorizo burrito and my other students went for the French toast. Unfortunately, it took over an hour and a half to get my food in a half empty restaurant, and we didn't even get to eat the food since the students had to rush to a location that didn't allow it. Terrible service, and it's unfortunate because this place seems to have good reviews. I don't know if this is the norm, but perhaps it was empty for a reason.
