The Tipsy Elf is a lively and festive restaurant that offers a unique holiday experience, perfect for social media photos. With its cheery atmosphere, fun decorations, and a variety of festive drinks, it remains a popular spot for celebrations. Visitors can enjoy seasonal themes, as the Tipsy Elf has hosted both Christmas and summer beach events, showcasing unique decor and vibe not typically found in regular bars. However, the drinks can be pricey, and some guests have mentioned that their cocktails felt weak.
Guests should be cautious about the auto gratuity, as tips might already be included without clear communication. While it's a must-see during the holiday season, it can get loud and crowded, making it a good idea to limit the stay to about an hour. The friendly staff, including the DJ, enhances the fun vibe, making it a great stop in the Bishop Arts District. However, some issues have been noted regarding the cleanliness of the restrooms, which are unisex and can create long lines. Overall, the atmosphere is amazing, and many guests have consistently enjoyed their visits, especially the green alcoholic drink, Mint Chocolate.
