First time here today and I love the Yucatan burrito with shortrib! I live right down the street so I'm surprised I hadn't been here before. Next time I'll ask for extra green salsa - the perfect amount of spicy kick without being obnoxious and some of the best tasting salsa I've had- could devour this stuff on some chips!

While driving through Uptown, I noticed Toluca. It's tucked away, so despite living down the street for years, I've never noticed it. However I decided to swing by today for a late lunch and I was pretty excited. From the street, it looks closed during the day, but they are open Mon-Fri from 11a-9p, Sat 11a-10p, and Sun 12p-5p. I ordered the Mexicali Salad with shredded chicken and it was pretty good. The produce was sweet and fresh, and the chicken was seasoned very well. The portion for the price was a bit small for me, but the salad is fairly filling. I also ordered a side of chips and salsa and the salsa is soooo good! But know that it had a kick to it. The portion of the chips and salsa is great for the price. It was empty when I arrived and my food was brought out within 10 minutes of ordering and sitting down. The staff is friendly and they have a nice patio that gets quite a bit of shade (if you're looking to sit outside while eating). Overall I enjoyed my experience and likely will be back.

Update!: after returning with my boyfriend (and my dog!) we had a great experience. The waitress went out of her way to make sure our dog had water outside - which we appreciated! The food was fantastic. Our favorite burrito is the Yucatán with short rib. This burrito is so good, we ordered it two days in a row! I also want to point out how great management is. The owner responded immediately to my previous concerns and wanted to make sure I have a positive experience in the future. We sure did, and we are happy to say Toluca is one of our go to spots (especially during quarantine because it's fast and easy).

We got a to go order and it was ready SUPER fast. Got the Yucatán burrito with vegan queso fresco and vegan chorizo: 10/10 would order again. Only thing was that the portions of elotes were pretty small for the price, but they were still delicious. Staff were also very kind and helpful!

This salad cost 18 dollars after the vegan ranch vegan barbacoa and portabella mushrooms and vegan cheese were added. Fine sounds like an amazing salad right. Then after tax delivery and tip it was 26$. The size is despicable for one. The kale had actual molding on it, real mold! 2 other of the kale leaves we yellow and white from old age! How is this acceptable. Will NOT recommend or eat here again.
So I found this place on Uber Eats, by searching for Vegan options .. and boy was in not disappointed. I got the build your own Burrito two days in a row at this point and I love it. It's fresh and quick and just love to have this option out there. That being said, I would have never found the place without Uber Eats, so I'm very happy! The burrito is flavorful and vegan and the perfect addition to my Covid-19 delivery addiction.

So good! Visiting Dallas I was looking for a vegan restaurant and we found this place. The food is so fresh, yummy oh, perfect amount of spices and creativity.If you want to add meat, you can. If you like cheese you can get that too. Or if you're 100% vegan, this is the place to go!Been twice in 2 days ?, might try to go again before we leave.

Absolutely everything on the menu is amazing. Best burrito in Dallas by far reminds me of the ones back home in California. The margaritas are 10/10 as well and made nice and strong. Also the staff is always very friendly and and nice, highly recommend can't go wrong with anything on their menu.

I was excited to try their vegan options and not only was I highly disappointed but also made physically sick. I ate their Sierra Madre burrito with vegan chorizo and it was unbelievably bland. My friend ordered the Del Reyna tacos with vegan spicy barbacoa and the elote which she couldn't keep eating after a few bites. The green and red salsas were just blended tomatoes and chilies with absolutely no spice. As a mexican person I am offended that this is what someone has done with our delicious and flavorful cuisine.
