I stop here any time I’m in oakcliff, and or at the Texas Theater. Two people can split a large torta. Still trying more of the menu items but each has been delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
The bolillo is delicious, I expected better quality in the food. It has very little amount inside. I had good references about the place but it honestly didn't meet my expectations.
Must go. Great spot, the Tortas here (not your sister) are next level!!! Simplicity is sometimes the best; not an overly complicated menu, every item has a picture, great for illiterate people like myself.
The bread is fresh, and toasted perfectly. The fries are great with good seasoning.
My recommendation: La Especial (substitute the American cheese with Queso Fresco)!
