Came here because on the way to the Richardson location, I discovered that the Richardson location was out of catfish. However, after waiting for my order, while driving back home I discovered that their catfish were the size of chicken fingers, and the shrimp were old, cold, and inedible. If it wasn’t for me already having waited for my order, and the hassle of parking, I would have driven back.

Tables were to close together, and middle area has section where people stand up and invade your personal space. The staff gave gift cards and free dessert. Food quantity was bigger than average.

This was our first time here. The chef was a little heavy-handed on the salt. The crab cakes were delicious, and so was the lobster bisque. The red fish, Mahi, and grilled vegetables were very salty. We did inform the waitress, and she apologized. My son said his fish sandwich was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were decent, and the slaw was absolutely the best I've ever had.The banana pudding was too thick, and there were not enough cookies, mostly pudding. We will give it another try.Parking: Parking was on the side of the restaurant

First time at this location, and it was just as great as the Richardson location! Atmosphere is nice and clean, our server was welcoming and attentive. The shrimp and crab bisque was so so sooooo good! Hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. I ordered the tricky fish plate with blacked red fish, which was perfect. Drinks were also very good! Will be back for sure!Edit: we’ve already been back, and it was awesome again! I’ll add more pics! Thanks also to the manager for taking the time to see how everything came out! Great place!

Came here after Christmas shopping. Was very surprised that it was quiet. We we super happy since all the big restaurants were hours wait. Our server Joe was super kind, very helpful! Wasn’t a fan of the queso so he swapped our appetizer for the fried green tomatoes. Oh myGoodness they were delicious! I had Redfin with the lemon butter and my wife had the Redfin with crawfish etouffe. Everything was fresh and just perfect! We also had 3 cocktails that were just so good. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Joe :) Forgot to get photos of the food since we were starving

Not sure why all the bad reviews but this was our first time dining at this location yesterday ,I must say my husband and I were very impressed!! Delicious food, attentive waitress, kind employees and nice atmospheres to bring friend on the weekend. Bartender was making a few interesting drinks so on my next visit I can't wait to try the alcohol! Please keep the steak frites special

How does tricky fish taste?? Well my husband and I wouldn’t know. We just placed a $56 order directly from their website, not a third party. When we submitted the order. We received a responded saying our order can’t be fulfilled but our money has indeed been taken from our account. It won’t be returned for 3 days. We called, and they didn’t offer to do anything. If we order again, we would have to pay again…. $100 plus in one night. What if we needed that money, what if I don’t have double money to spend today to order twice. More businesses should take more responsibility for online malfunctions and make it right with their customers. At least Offer something for our trouble.

A winning suggestion from Google Maps. I lived in Louisiana ten years, and really miss the amazing food. Most of the Cajun or Creole food I've had in DFW is meh or bad.Though its vibe is upscale sports bar, Tricky Fish is the real deal for Louisiana style food! Generous portions for the price too. Absolutely delicious catfish and shrimp. Legit poboys - I've had so many bad poboys here in DFW, but theirs is awesome! My wife and I loved our meal so much we ordered another sandwich to go. Even their fries were perfect.
