Ordered for pickup on a Friday night....Went to pick up and the restaurant was closed. I've called, messaged, emailed, texted, etc to get a refund but have not heard back from anyone. Will update review if I receive a refund. I've been a long time customer of Trompo so this is VERY disappointing.

Ordered from this place for the first time for my family. Noticed the rice from everyone’s plate had a smell to which felt it had expired. The tacos barely had any cilantro/onions if any. The meat wasn’t bad or the tacos. Fries were not that great either.

The tacos were good, but the margarita was gross.

Visited on a Saturday evening and was clean and not busy. We walked up to counter was easy to place an order with a pretty simple menu options. Ordered 8 tacos and cup of elote and was over $65. Tried the barbacoa, bistek, and trompo. Below average flavor and kinda salty. The worse part was the stinginess with the veggies, cilantro and onions. I visited a Firehouse sub restaurant earlier in the day and customer sevice was stellar compared to what i got here. The young lady just placed the food on corner of table without a word and left. Didnt offer napkins, salsa, or i explain what was what. Small details dont matter until they do. Lesson learned: dont pay attention to trendy places but instead visit places that actually care about earning business based on whole experience.

Amazing food, Bar area for mixed drinks plus a fun place to eat and chill.

My buddy and I had delish taco's and a side of fries with an fresh meat, cheese and gooey goodness on top.

Adding cold drinks just makes things even better.

Giod service, order from a large board menu with pricing and picks to make a complete order.

Parking: Park down the street and take a short walk up the block.

Stellar food, especially the burrito which is tightly packed to the brim so it doesn't fall apart at first bite. Stopped going out to eat as much lately but this is one spot I still visit.

jinxer !

Taste to price ratio is way off. Tacos were meh and had no meat in them, plus I was missing a pastor one (ordered online). Elote was okay, no cheese mayo or cream underneath the corn.
