The place and food were really good. My only complaint is that the dress code wasn't enforced. There were women there who had butt cheeks out. There was also a woman who came in wearing lingerie.
This was a great find. From the moment we entered and were greeted by friendly staff this was a great experience. Everyone that helped us was very engaging, prompt with suggestions, and timely with service. On top of that, the food was incredible. We are lovers of southern cooking and this place does not disappoint with a great menu of options that all sounded amazing. We tried a couple of appetizers, entrees and the banana pudding for dessert. I highly recommend this place if you're in Dallas. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
The food was awesome! Deviled eggs with blackened shrimp, hand-crafted lemonades, chicken and butter pecan waffles (didn't need syrup). Mwah, chef's kiss 😘
This restaurant is one of my absolute favorites! My boyfriend and I made it a tradition to celebrate our anniversary here. They have live music, a professional photographer capturing special moments, and the perfect atmosphere, it's always such a memorable experience!
The food drink ambience are always great. Not the usual top-tier experience when I arrived and my party of 10 were sat at several round tables. However, the staff rallied and was able to see us at a better table. The food is phenomenal. The drinks are phenomenal. Our waitress was amazing. She answered all our questions checked up as frequently. Thank you for creating a restaurant space Dallasites can consistently count on for quality and service.
We had an awesome experience here dining! I did not think that I would be so blown away by southern cuisine, but I was! We had the fried cauliflower for an appetizer, and it was exceptional. I had the friend chicken with peach waffles with mac and cheese. Man, I can not even tell you how great the waffles and the mac and cheese was! The best I have ever had! And the chicken was very great as well. Usually, all fried chicken is about the same to me, but this place really changed my opinion on that. I also had a peach drink that was big enough for 3 people lol, but I managed to finish it. To finish things, I had the banana pudding, which was outstanding as well! The service we had was very friendly and fantastic! I have absolutely no complaints, other than I live too far away to come back a few times a year. If you have the chance to try this establishment out, I highly recommend it!
I love the place. Good people. Good location. Good vibes. And the food is Bomb ! The food is always delicious. No complaints.
We were sat in the back of the restaurant, seemed to be no A/C. Extremely hot. Also had to ask for our drinks a few times, at least 15 minutes before we actually got them.
Just a fun place to eat, kind of Cajun meets comfort. Drinks are delicious, our go to place when we are heading to the Majestic Theater next door
Very disappointing reality versus expectation. The dress code posted on the website is not enforced at all. Sports jerseys, hoodies, shorts, sloppy tshirts, athletic slides, work out attire, hats, durags,...we saw it all. The website photos on-line of the Dallas location showing the white walled room with pink upholstered chairs and flowers on the ceiling is false. The interior looks nothing like this now. It has black ceiling, dark navy onyx (?) bar, dark upholstery, dark floors. This restaurant has more bar vibe than restaurant vibe. The cocktail menu is very limited and is mostly high sugar drinks. No wine. The food is good, well seasoned.

I absolutely loved the food—every dish was rich, flavorful, and still had that comforting, home-cooked taste. It felt like a meal made with love. Tutu was an amazing server—attentive, kind, and made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back!
Food was amazing but service was TRASH. They weren't mean just very un attentive and didn't give updates we had to ask for every single thing. Made reservations for 1:15 didn't get order taken til almost 2 and didn't receive food until almost 3. Had to hurry and eat and leave to catch flights later. Waitress took our order and we didn't see her again until she brought the food and when we asked for checks. A total of 3 times ... food was good though I won't lie. Not sure if I'll be back or maybe on a week day or something. Reserved for a birthday dinner was only 6 of us and they charge 20% gratuity for bad service
Went to Kitchen + Kocktails Dallas this past Sunday. My reservation was for 12:30 PM, but I didn't get seated until 1:20 PM because they mistakenly thought I had already been seated. Off to a rough start. The drinks weren't good at all, and the food took a full hour to come out. Service throughout was poor — barely checked on us. The one bright spot was the food itself, which was actually really good once it finally arrived. Overall, not worth the wait or the hassle.
The food was amazing. Great Southern dishes. Service was great. It was a little too loud for my group that was trying to talk and catch up. Keep up the excellence; turn the volume down a notch. 🥰
Loved it! Everything from the food to the service was excellent. There are only two cons for me. One is the cost. This is an expensive restaurant. The other is the photographer guy selling pictures for $25 in a dollar tree frame. Although I did not care for a person coming to my table to take/sell pictures, my party was 6 adults and my cousin and daughter in law purchased $75 worth of pictures, which was three. On to the positive...I love the way our waiter bought us a taste of their frozen drinks so we could decide if we wanted to order that particular drink. For starters we had the appetizer trio and chargrilled oysters. They were delicious. Then we shared an entree. We had the shrimp, grits, and lobster. It was delicious. I have no complaints on the service or the food. I have been to KK in Chicago, DC, and now Dallas. So I know that this service and great food is not a hit or miss for this restaurant. It is deliberate and my family and I appreciate it!
