I was impressed by this burger place in Dallas! I liked the theme and the whole casual atmosphere of the restaurant. You get to customize everything about your burger and it's cooked to order (my preference). It was a small wait which is expected and they call out names for orders as popular movie characters (my order name was Lt Dan from Forest Gump silly). If you go with a group, it inspires some jokes and conversations. Plenty of seating is offered, even rooftop seating indoor and outdoor. I also had a strawberry shake which was really good, but I paid that tax later on in private..😆 I will definitely return when in the area.

Definitely one of the best burger places Ive been to in Dallas. Their hospitality is A1, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by someone behind the counter with a friendly smile and a hospitable hello welcome in, their menu is actually pretty cool too they have several different unique burgers and even offer BYOB (build your own burger) and a vegan option for the animal loving homies. The fries are top notch my son is autistic and very picky about fries but he devoured my entire side if fries then proceeded to steal his fathers lol. I believe they are hand cut and house made and you can definitely tell with the flavorful taste they have. They also have really cool house made shakes which I was too full to try because the burger was juicy and big just how a burger should be. It was very filling and satisfying. The atmosphere was cool too they have the place decorated in a uniqye manner and it wasnt too loud or over crowded despite being right near deep ellum. Definitely will come back with friends to get a day drink and some burgers again next time and hopefully ill have room to try a shake and maybe edit the review to reflect the shakes as well. 10/10 oh and last thing the music choice in there was also 10/10

Great food and all but removing the spicy goat was a crazy choice and I don’t go as much as I used to.

I dont know how this place has 4 stars. Tasteless burgers, employees dont clean up the tables when guest leave and we were never given the shake we ordered. They must depend on drunk people for the reviews cause any sober person would know this is trash. Upset my stomach too and I could only eat a few bites of the trashy food.

A bunch of masked morons and greasy burgers
This place really exceeded my expectations. The food came out excellent and went to use the bathrooms and they were extremely clean very satisfied if I lived closer I would probably come here once a week very much recommended!

Food was good. Service was terrible. Food was missing from our order that the server told us was missing when we got the food. Said it would be right out. 10 minutes later I asked about it and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, I got the same response again. We finally said don't worry about it we are leaving and the woman behind the counter just nodded. No I'm sorry about that, no nothing.
We were there at around 5 in the evening on a Saturday and half the tables were dirty. No one was bussing the tables. An employee was informed that someone had left their car keys on a table and he just walked over, got the keys, and left. Didn't pick up a single plate, glass or anything else from the table. New customers were having to clean tables off so that they would have somewhere to sit.
I would not recommend this place. The food was good but not great enough to make up for the terrible level of service. I'm sure that there are better options in Dallas.

We stopped here after going to a museum in the city. We had a large group and everyone loved the burgers. A couple people had milkshakes - both very good. The fries were also excellent. Our group included people that are vegetarian and also gluten free. They said the Tree Hugger burger was very good. The gluten free buns were also very good. The fries are gluten free as well.
We had high hopes to try Twisted Root on our way thru Waco. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. We walked in the door at 12:56 on December 29th. We asked for a refund after waiting until 2:26. When I approached the counter the man that was in line in front of us was cancelling his order due to the continued wait. When I asked how much longer until for our order to be ready, I was told another 48 minutes. Then the guy proceeded to explain how there were only 3 people there. And they were doing the best they could. There were 3 or 4 guys in the kitchen cooking. One person taking orders, that needed additional training. And one lady getting buns and “fixins” ready. I’m assuming the person we spoke with was a manager. He assured me my wait time was normal considering the circumstances of only 3 people being there. He was counting himself as the third person. Anyway, very disappointing and sets the precedent for wanting to return to this location. It seems additional workers need to be hired. Efficient training for current employees and a management course on professionalism and courtesy is much needed at this location.
Start to finish everything was prefect. We came by late afternoon on Sunday. We were warmly greeted. Our cashier was friendly, and helped guide us through the menu. Our food came out quickly, and was delicious.

Great burgers. Juicy and well seasoned, cooked to perfection. Some of the best fried pickles you will find, disks not spears....like they should be.
